3 1. Introduction Activenet as a service provider provides multiple products, services to residential and business customers. One such service is LBNCo Internet and Voice (Phone). 1.1 Purpose The purpose for this work instruction is to teach you how to navigate and process Internet Request using LBNCo Wholesale Portal and adding this service to one of the Active Billing Engines which is Orion. 1.2 Systems Used SDP (Service Desk Plus) LBNCo Wholesale Portal Orion ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
4 2. Initiating a New Internet service 2.1 How to initiate a New Internet service Step 1: Open the SDP (Service Desk Plus) and Click on the ticket that has been assigned to you. Once you have done that you will see the details of the ticket as shown below. Note: The following information listed below. You must take note as it is required when completing the connection. SiteCode (124) Is the discount code. Choose your speed Example: 25/5 Mbps ( ) Choose your quota Example: fast50gb 17 ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
5 Note: The following information shown below. You must take note if customer has opted for Direct Debit to add in customer s Orion account. Step 2: Create the account in Orion. Click on ISP from dropdown list then Click on Add. ICON which will bring you to a popup window. Select Product as ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
6 Step 3: Once you have clicked on Add on the previous step a new page will appear. Populate the relevant fields as outlined below. Once you have completed this, Click on Finish. Note: Add Notes in the Orion account after the account has been created referencing the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket number. Note: Every selection or entry while filling up the required details in Orion you need to press TAB after. Group Select from dropdown list 150 for Activenet customers. Brand Select from dropdown list ACTIVENET Activenet. Username Will be an1000xxxx@activenet.com.au. Example: an @activenet.com.au Password Use Password Generator via link Change the following: Password Length Change to 8 Untick Include Punctuation Click on Generate Password ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
7 Capacity Select from dropdown list based on SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket information provided for Activenet Private Network which will have PN. Example: PN 25/5 Network Select from dropdown list ActiveNet. IP Address Will always be (Site/Street Address) Unit Type, Unit No, Street No, Street Name, Type, Suburb, Post code and State Is in the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket application for connection as shown above. Customer Contact Details Is in the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket application for connection. Populate information as listed below. Postal Address Unless specified will be same as Service Address. Street Address Will be as per Service Address details. ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
8 Post Code Will be as per Service Address details. Will be as per provided on the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket application by the customer. Phone No Will be as per provided on the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket application by the customer. Phone Type Select from dropdown list if Mobile or Landline. Contact Is in the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket application for connection. Populate information as listed below. First Name Last Name Date of Birth Address Finance & Invoice Options Populate the required information as listed below. Product Type Select Private Network Data. Price Plan Select plan based on customer s application. Billing Cycle Select Monthly always. Contract Term Will always be Open Contract. Delivery Method Select and if no by Mail. Contract Start Will be todays date of account creation. ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
9 Step 4: Once account is created in Orion. Go to the LBNCo Wholesale Portal to initiate Internet Connection request. Step 5: Click on Retail then select Service Qualification from Dropdown as shown below. Step 6: Add the service address is the address field as shown below then Click on Check Service Qualification tab. Step 7: Click on Green box with Port Name for Internet with VDSL Data. Once you have done this the below screen will appear. You will need to select and populate the following above fields as required based on the plan requested. Once done CLICK on Place An Port Order. NOTE: Take note of the Order ID as you will need this in the following steps. ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
10 WS package This is where you select the internet speed based on what the customer has requested. Peak Limit (GB) This is where you ENTER data limit based on the plan. Offpeak Limit (GB) Will always be 0. Username/Phone No This is where you ENTER the username which the customer s account number with AU before it then followed EXAMPLE: au @activeutilities.com.au Password Use the previously generated password. Static IP Do not change as this will default to NO. Step 8: Once you have done the previous step 6 and 7 then the below notification will appear to advise that the order has been placed successfully. NOTE: This order Id: is searchable under Retails Port Orders Search. Step 9: Add the order ID information to the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket for future reference at the Notes section of the ticket. Step 10: Leave the SDP ticket Open, change the SDP (Service Desk Plus) ticket Group to WD AU Handback. ACTIVENET INTERNET CONNECTION LBNCO SITES - MARCH
