Overview The HS22 and HS22V support both the Intel Xeon 5500 and 5600 Series Processors. For these processors, memory speed is a specific attribute of the processor. The system memory speed (that is, the speed at which the memory is actually running) depends on several factors including: CPU capability DIMM type or types used (memory speed, RDIMM, Single Rank/Dual Rank) Number of DIMMs populated per channel The Xeon 5600 processor supports both 1.35V and 1.5V memory. Once addressed, data can be transferred on both edges of the clock signal. This significantly improves performance of the front-side bus Xeon MP processors. ECC DIMMs combined with an integrated advanced ECC memory controller with fourth-generation Chipkill support to correct many single-bit, 2-bit, 3-bit, and 4-bit memory errors to minimize disruption of service to LAN clients.
