1 ACP Composites New Website Tutorial ACP Composites Inc. has launched its new dramatically redesigned online store at home. The store embodies the company s forward thinking vision and commitment to the growing needs of its customers. The redesign was initiated after the launch of the site s new homepage. In mid 2010, ACP Composites, Inc. quietly revealed its new homepage, showcasing the new image of ACP Composites, Inc. This improvement pushed ACP Composites, Inc. to update the online shopping store to complement the new look. With customer feedback and after months of designing, an online store has been created that reflects the company image while enhancing the customers shopping experience. This tutorial details some of the new features including: Improved product navigation Direct access to technical references Detailed product informationn including tips, recommendations, and uses Ability to ask a question about a product at the click of a button Ability to send a product link to a friend, associate, or yourself

2 Home Page There have been a few features added to help navigation of the site easier and more convenient. The homepage has been broken up into section: header, side bar, body, and footer. Header: The header now looks the same as the home page. 1. One click link between the custom manufacturing site and the online store 2. Header bar offers links to overall company information 3. Search by word or by using the advanced search feature 4. Secondary header for online store, shopping cart, and login/ /account access Side Bar: Product Categories: Navigating categories can now be done by product type. This allows for quicker searches and more product specific categories. 5. Main Category Each main category has a drop down which reveals either submain categories in the category, or products within the main category. Click on the main category and the main category page will appear, providing a brief description of the category and the sub category options. 6. Sub Category The sub category narrows the available products in the main category. Click the sub categories from either the side bar or the main category details page. Clicking on the sub category will detail a list of products in thatt sub category. (i.e.. Clicking on Woven Fabrics under Kevlar, will reveal the list of products that are woven Kevlar fabrics.)

3 Side Bar: Your Cart: View the shopping cart at a quick glance; see how many items are in the cart and the subtotal of the order. View Cart : Click to view the products in the cart. Checkout : Quickly begin the checkout process Side Bar: Recently Viewed: Extra feature that enables customer to see the last viewed item. Side Bar: Company Information: Contains sections which describe site capabilities, the conditions of using the site, and provides other useful information. Help : Forgot your password Contactt Us : Takes you to the contact us page which details company address, a map to get directions, company contacts, and a form to fill out for contact. Terms & Conditions : Details ACP Composite s complete terms and conditions, including shipping policies, returns, terms of use, and privacy policy. Shipping Policies : Shortcut to viewing only the Shipping Policies of ACP Composites. Returns : Shortcut to viewing only Returns Policies of ACP Composites. Terms of Use : Shortcut to viewing only the conditions of using our website and online store. Privacy Policy : Shortcut to viewing ACP Composites customer privacy information. Credit Card Accepted: Images of credit cards that ACP Composites accepts. Social Media: Each image links to ACP Composites, Inc. social networking site and allows the option to follow via Facebook, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn. Body: Home Page: On the home page new features include a banner, ACP News!, Tip of the Month, and Associations of which ACP Composites, Inc. is a member of. The banner changes periodically, detailing new products, sales, or featured products. Keep current with what is going on at ACP Composites with the ACP News! section. Every Month ACP Composites will provide a new tip of the month. Available online will be the current month and the previous month. Archived tips will be available upon request. The proud members of section details to what associations ACP Composites, Inc. belongs and directly links to that organization website. Footer: Reiterates header bar that offers links to overall company information.

4 Product Pages After selecting a sub category, the products page will appear. The products page lists the products in that sub category, provides the option to add to cart, and allows the download of product data sheets and MSDS s (if available). Note: MSDS s are a future feature. Navigation: Alternative to going back to the previous page. Print Option: Quick link to print product page. Will print all items on the page. Go to product details page to just print the product. Product details hyperlinks: There are 2 ways to get to the product details page, click the image or the product title. Adding product to cart. Select the product in the drop down. There are some products that are offered with different specifications so review the drop down to see available options. Enter the quantity you want to purchase in the quantity box. Press the add to cart button to add product to the cart. Data Sheet: Clicking on the icon pulls up a PDF, in a new window, for the product properties and data. Out of Stock: If an item is out of stock it will be indicated next to the product. Note: If there are multiple items in a drop down, select the product in which you want the dataa sheet, and then click the data sheet icon. Some products in the drop down may offer different properties.

5 Product Detail Pages The product details page offers additional information thatt is relevant to just that product. Navigation: Alternative to going back to the previous page. Print Option: Quick link to print product details page. Product details body: In the body there are product details such as weight, tech tips, recommendations, possible uses and any additional useful product information. Adding product to cart: Select the product in the drop down. There are some products that are offered with different specifications so review the drop down to see available options. Enter the quantity you want to purchase in the quantity box. Press the add to cart button to add product to cart. Data Sheet: Clicking on the icon pulls up a PDF, in a new window, for the product properties and data. Ask a Question: Click on the image and fill out the form to ask a product question. Not available. Future Feature. Send to Friend: Send the link to a specific product to a friend, co worker, even yourself, by filling out the form. Customers also Bought: Not available.
