3 1 Access the new trading platform What system requirements are required to access Macquarie Online Trading? Technical requirements Computer operating system PC: Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 Mac: OSX or above Browser PC: latest Chrome (recommended), Firefox or Internet Explorer browser Mac: latest Safari (recommended), Chrome or Firefox browser Connectivity Broadband or faster Mobile operating system iphone: ios 4.3 or above Android: OS 2.1 or above To access Macquarie Online Trading, follow the steps below: A Log in to the Macquarie Prime portal as you usually would at macquarie.com.au/login B Click on the Start trading button in the top right-hand corner of the page B 1

4 Access the new trading platform C If all account holders have accepted the new terms and conditions, you will be directed to Macquarie Online Trading which has replaced the Macquarie Prime trading platform D Access the following functions from this page: view your portfolio place orders view your watchlists get quotes and company information view charts change your market data settings 2

5 2 View your portfolio To view your portfolio, follow the steps below: A Your portfolio summary is located below the Business news section within Macquarie Online Trading B You may also access your portfolio by clicking on the Portfolio icon on the left-hand navigation menu. This will create a separate window so you can continue to use the other features of this webpage B A 3

6 View your portfolio C To view your portfolio detail, select Accounts from the top navigation menu and then select Portfolio. This will allow you to see your share portfolio, your cash balance and any open orders C 4

7 3 Place an order To place an order, follow the steps below: A Click the Buy / Sell button on the left-hand navigation menu A 5

8 Place an order B Enter the details of your order, including the stock code and quantity. You will see your available funds to trade from your Macquarie Prime account on the right-hand side B C Click the Next button when you have completed all required order information from the order pad C 6

9 Place an order D Review and confirm your order and click Confirm D E You will receive an order confirmation summarising the order that has been submitted F You can also place orders when accessing the order pad via a mobile phone or tablet 7

10 4 Change your market data settings There are different market data settings that you can choose to apply to your account based on your specific needs. To change your market data setting, follow the steps below: A Click on Administration from the top navigation menu and then select Information service from the options A B You will be presented with the market data settings to choose from. Make your selection and click the Confirm button after viewing and accepting the terms and conditions B B 8

11 5 Get quotes and company information To access quotes and company information from Morningstar, follow the steps below: A Search for a company using the Quote icon on the left-hand navigation menu A B You may also view quotes from your mobile or tablet 9
