4 Producing Single Sided 4 Copies With the document you wish to print open on your screen: 1). Select > File > Print and the Print Dialogue box shown opposite will open 2). Select the Riso HC5500 printer from the drop down memu 4). Select > Properties The Riso HC5500 printer properties will now open up in the Main Setting tab indicated: 1). Select > Colour or Monochrome (lack + White) 2). Select > OK C The Print Dialogue box will reappear: 1). Select > Number of copies: 2). Select > OK The Riso HC5500 will now print the selected number of copies 1

5 Producing Double (Duplex) Sided Copies Follow section of page 2 to open up the Properties of the Riso HC5500 then: 1). Select paper size you wish to print on from the drop down menu > Paper Feed Tray Choose > Standard Feed Tray for 4 Choose > Feed Tray 2 for 3 Select your Double Sided (Duplex) option: 1). Select > Duplex Printing Choose > Long Edge inding Or > Short Edge inding LONG EDGE INDING SHORT EDGE INDING 2). Select > OK 2

6 Enlargement to 3 Follow section of page 2 to open up the Properties of the Riso HC5500 then: 1). Choose > Feed Tray 2 for 3 size paper Select the Layout tab: 1). Using the drop down menu > Output paper size This will confi rm the size of paper to print out. (In this example we have selected 3) 2). Select > OK 3

7 Multi-up - Same image on one page Follow section of page 2 to open up the Properties of the Riso HC5500 then: 1). Select paper size you wish to print on from the drop down menu > Paper Feed Tray Choose > Standard Feed Tray for 4 Choose > Feed Tray 2 for 3 Select The Layout tab 1). Select > Pagination From the drop down menu Choose > Mult-up (Single page) 2). This will then activate > Pages per page Choose 2, 4, or 8 of the same image per page 3). Select > OK = 4

8 Multi-up - Different images on one page Follow section of page 2 to open up the Properties of the Riso HC5500 then: 1). Select paper size you wish to print on from the drop down menu > Paper Feed Tray Choose > Standard Feed Tray for 4 Choose > Feed Tray 2 for 3 Select The Layout tab 1). Select > Pagination From the drop down menu Choose > Mult-up (Multi page) 2). This will then activate > Pages per sheet Choose 2, 4, or 8 different pages to view per page 3). Select > OK = 5

Select paper size you wish to print on from the drop down menu > Paper Feed Tray Choose > Standard Feed Tray for 4 Choose > Feed Tray 2 for 3 **Please note that if using the optional fi nishing unit to fold and staple an 5 booklet (see step C): Choose > Feed Tray 1 for 4 Select The Layout tab 1). Select > Pagination From the drop down menu Choose > ooklet 2). Select > Output paper size to match paper size to be printed C The following function will require the optional finishing unit to be fitted 1). Select > ooklet From the drop down menu Choose > Fold and Staple 3). Select > OK 6

10 Stapling - Portrait Select The Main Settings tab 1). Select > Standard Feed Tray This is the default setting Select The Finisher tab 1). Select > Staple Then from the drop down menu choose one of the following: Left 2 position Left Top 1 position Right 2 position Right Top 1 position 3). Select > OK Top 1 Position LEFT RIGHT Top 1 Position 2 Position 2 Position 7

11 Stapling - Landscape Select The Main Settings tab 1). Select > Standard Feed Tray This is the default setting Select The Layout tab 1). Select > Landscape C Select The Finisher tab 1). Select > Staple Then from the drop down menu choose one of the following: Top 2 Position Top Left 1 Position Top Right 1 Position Top Left 1 Position Top 2 Position Top Right 1 Position 3). Select > OK 8

12 Hole Punching - Left or Right Select The Main Settings tab 1). Select > Standard Feed Tray This is the default setting Select The Finisher tab 1). Select > Punching > Left or Right From the drop down menu 2). Select > Details New window will appear then chosse 2 or 4 Hole 3). Select > OK 9

13 Cover Sheet To apply Cover Sheets select The Finisher tab 1). Tick the box > dd Cover 2). Select > Details New window will appear 3). Select > Front Cover or ack Cover (or both) Front Covers can be applied to: *ooklets *Stapled and or Hole Punched Jobs ack Covers can only be appled to: *Stapled and or Hole Punched Jobs 4). Select > OK and print 10

14 Secure Printing Once you have chosen the required settings for your print job: 1). Select the Options tab. 2). Click on > Security Print This will open up the Security Print box shown opposite 1). Tick > Use Security Print Function 2). Enter a Security Code (0-8 digit). This is a one-off code for this job 3). Select > OK 4). Job will now be sent to printer and wait in job queue with the status Requesting 11

15 Secure Printing - Printing Out Using the HC5500 Touch Screen Panel Select Job Manager on the Touch Screen Ensure Job Status page is active: 1). Jobs printed in Secure Print will be visible in job queue and indicate Requesting. 2). Touch and highlight job to be printed. 3). Select > Output 4). Security Code previously entered will be requested when new window opens: 5). Enter code. 6). Select > OK 12

16 Saving Jobs to Storage Once you have chosen the required print settings for your print job: 1). Select the Main Setting tab. 2). Using the drop down > Output Mode Select > Storage or > Print and Storage If you wish to store you job in a particular folder: 1). Select > Specify Output Condition 2). new window will appear and select > Storage Folder Using the drop down select a folder to store your job 13

17 Printing Out Jobs from Storage Using the HC5500 Touch Screen Panel Select Job Manager on the Touch Screen Select Storage Tab: 1). Jobs not stored in a folder will appear in the main storage window 2). To locate jobs stored in folders select > Folders New window will appear:. 3). Select Folder required and select > OK 4). Jobs store in chosen folder will now appear. 5). Highlight job to be printed 6). Select > Output 14
