AccessVision provides immediate visual feedback and avoids having to switch back and forth between screens. 33 Searching for a prism with the SX10 Regular search All of the features are available with the SX10 as similar to the S Series. Search with defined window GPS search Predictive tracking Video tap and lock search Enhanced VISION allows you to quickly and easily identify your target Click the prism to point the instrument and typically you will get locked quicker. Use a combination of both as the situation dictates

34 Searching comparison Searching differences SX10 Searches only one pass slower than S7 S Series Two passes if nothing identified, first one fast, then a slow search Typically faster Common: Searches in a pattern going out from last known location. One horizontal sweep and checks back to potential targets on that pass. If no target then change vertical and new horizontal sweep.
