15 Conclusion about 3D performance of SPOT 6 SPOT 6 shows a pixel-sized vertical accuracy (1.5m LE90), achieved from the higher B/H ratios, say from 0.45 and more. B/H below provide not optimized results. Using a triplet reduce the number of voids, approximately by half, whatever the minimum B/H ; useful for urban or steep areas. For most demanding applications, the study suggests the following «optimal» tri-stereo configuration: / ±0 / SPOT 6 is an adequate source of elevation to extract cartographic-quality contour lines up to a ±5m interval, whithin an adequate state-of-the-art production process (breaklines, edition.).
