13 TracePro 7.6 Menus Have Changed Starting with TracePro 7.6, the TracePro Utilities menu that used to launch the utilities will now only tell you where that utility can be found in the menus. TracePro LC Utilities do not include the Texture, DMD, Fluorescence or Interactive Optimizers. LC Standard & Expert 13

17 Note on How to Import New Optical Properties Default Optical Properties Database TracePro s installation procedure for installing new releases of TracePro does not overwrite your current optical properties database to add new properties. If you want to add the new diffuser catalogs to your optical properties database you will need to import them. Importing New Properties If you want to import the new diffuser catalogs you will first need to download them from the Lambda Research Secure Website properties area: Next hit F11 while running TracePro to bring up the Import dialog or use the menu option Tools Database Import and browse for the downloaded catalog file. 17

18 Note on How to Export Properties Database Property Database Property definitions are stored in the TracePro database (which is part of your TracePro installation - the application of those properties is stored in your individual models) If you Created new properties, and Used these properties in your model, and Want to share your model with a colleague Then you must Export the properties to an ASCII file, Tools Database Export or F12 (TracePro will automatically export only those custom properties that you used in your model) 18

20 New Feature 7.6 New Macro Editor Notepad ++ This new editor provides Scheme macro syntax highlighting, multi-document support, auto-completion, and macro launch directly from the editor. Hit <CTRL> F5 to run.

21 TracePro 7.6 Ray File Wavelength Editor The new Ray File Editor allows users to import RAY and SRC ray files and edit their wavelength definitions. Many Ray Files use definitions other than microns and this editor allows you to both change and add wavelengths to Ray Files. 21
