5 2. Folders/Mechanical Parts Folding rollers Folding rollers for the Stahlfolder range Original Heidelberg folding rollers are available in Classic and Extra Grip versions. They consist of a hard steel core with a corrugated surface and large journals that ensure smooth running. 15 mm wide polyurethane rings are fitted into the steel core for transporting the folded sheet exactly in the direction of paper travel. The new Extra Grip folding roller for extra folding quality The Extra Grip folding rollers set new standards with their innovative configuration. The steel segments are just 9 mm wide, increasing the number of polyurethane rings by around 30 percent per folding roller. There are no longer any overlaps between the corrugated steel segments.
