19 Education Today Status quo in education is unsustainable The traditional college student has changed drastically Money is going to non-traditional programs $200M to Teach for America in JUST 2010 (highest SOE gift was 10% of that) Money is coming from non-traditional providers Broad Superintendents Academy is training CEOs, retired military officers, other leaders to be school superintendents 19
