1 TVR 60 IP Camera Setup How to Setup UltraView IP Cameras Utilizing a Web Browser Interlogix Sales Engineering Team 7/1/2011

2 Objectives: This document was created to assist in the process of adding supported IP cameras to a TVR 60, utilizing the web browser. Currently the TVR 60 supports the following IP Cameras: Truvision MPX UltraView IP CamPlus2 IP Panasonic TVC M N UVC IP EVRDN HR GEC IP2VD DN NW484S TVD M1120V 3 N UVD IP EVRDNR GEC IP2D NF284 TVC M N UVC IP EVRDN HR P GEC IP2B NP 244 TVD M2110V 3 N UVD IP EVRDNR P TVD M N UVC IP XP3DN HR UVD IP XP3DNR UVC IP XP3DN HR P UVD IP XP3DNR P UltraView Encoder UVE 101 Before you start We suggest before you start the configuration, to confirm that you have access to the TVR 60 and all the cameras that you are trying to connect. Start by testing connectivity with the desired camera, open an Internet Explorer and enter the camera assigned IP address. Here is an example of what you should see if you connect successfully to an UltraView IP Camera. Refer to the camera manual to enter or change IP address configuration.

3 Figure 1 Getting Started Utilizing an Internet Explorer version 8 or above, enter the IP Address assigned to the TVR 60. Note: If you have not yet assigned an IP address to the TVR-60, stop here and refer to the TVR-60 Installation Guide for more details. If you connect successfully to the TVR 60 the screen below will display:

4 Figure 2 As shown in the next screen enters the username and password. By default the Username is admin and the password Click Login Note: We strongly suggest that you change the passwords once you complete your configuration. (Refer to user guide for more details).

5 Figure 3 Once you login to the Web based interface you should see the screen below. Click in the Config button to start the configuration. (Figure 4) Figure 4 After that click in the Remote Config button (Figure 5)

6 Figure 5 Click on IP Camera button to start the configuration. (Figure 6) Figure 6 Now you are ready to configure the IP Cameras. Click in the first available camera as shown in Figure 7, we will start with D1.

7 Figure 7 Once you select the first available slot (in the example above D1), on the right side of the screen enter the following information: IP Address this is the IP Address of the camera you are trying to add to the TVR 60 Port enter 80 for UltraView IP Cameras Username should be already set for admin Password by default the camera should have a password 1234, (refer to camera installation guide for more details). Channel No should already been assigned, don t change it. Connection Type Select the camera type, in Figure 8 we have selected UltraView IP. It will depend on the camera type After that click in the Modify Button to save the configuration, the IP camera configuration will now be saved to the TVR 60, this process could take a couple of minutes. Check the TVR 60 front panel IP Camera LED indicator; it should have a Green LED.

8 Figure 8 To Display the camera on the TVR 60 Web Browser application, go back to the Live button in the top menu. After that select the desired IP camera, the image should display (Figure 9)
