This would not require participation from Dawson County employees. Does Dawson County have an objection to this? Answer: Dawson County objects to non-scheduled site visits. These locations are gated and not owned by Dawson County Government and require advanced scheduling and participation by Dawson County employees. Site visits are scheduled immediately following the pre-bid conference. Question: Please provide a date by which vendors can expect answers posted on the County s website. Answer: Answers are posted by way of Addenda. The deadline for addenda is Friday, November 16, 2012 ay 5:00PM. Refer to page 3 of RFP for more information regarding tentative schedule. Question: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and limited time available after the pre-bid conference and site visits, would Dawson County consider a two (2) week extension? Answer: An extension is not possible given the time constraints. In order to have this project awarded by the end of the year, the November 26, 2012 deadline cannot be extended. Question: Please clarify that if an award was made in December, if this statement precludes a contract being executed prior to January 1, 2013? 2 Answer: The anticipated award date is Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 6:00PM, EST. Once approved, contracts will be procured as soon as possible. The Dawson County Board of Commissioners enabling legislation does not allow for contracts to cross years with the exception of renewal options as defined in the RFP. Question: Would a link to our company's financial website providing the requested information satisfy the requirement? Answer: No. Financial statements of the vendor as well as a brief history are required. Question: Does this RFP require a State Business License or a County Business License? Answer: For the purposes of this RFP, a state business license and/or a copy of the county business license of the home office will suffice. Once awarded, vendor is expected to register that license with the Dawson County Planning and Development Department. For general information on how to do so, call Question: Please clarify why vendors should indemnify the County against suits or claims as a result of the RFP if it is not the vendor to whom an award is made? Answer: Dawson County is not responsible for any costs or damages as a result of this RFP. If any accidents occur while in Dawson County or on property related to this RFP, vendors shall indemnify and hold harmless the aforementioned parties. Question: When the coordinates for Site 2 are plotted we have them located SE of the prime site. Please verify the coordinates at these sites. Answer: A revised Radio Site Description Table is attached. Coordinates have been corrected for Site 2 and Site 4. Revisions indicated in red. Question: Please define the reprogramming needed for the existing Minitor pagers if they are remaining on the same MHz frequency? Answer: A revised Appendix A is attached. The pagers have been removed. DCSO portable and DCES mobile estimate totals have also been revised. Revisions indicated in red. Question: Please define Dawson County's vision of interoperability and prioritize that need with surrounding jurisdictions. Answer: Through Phase I and Phase II, our analog subscriber interoperable frequency capabilities will not change.
