1 Product Discontinuation Notice 3M Assorted Japan Sourced Connectors Issue Number: 756 Date: March 26, 2010 Product Discontinuance Effective June 1, 2010, 3M will exit a few assorted low volume Japanese connector product families, due to lack of sufficient volume to maintain production. All products affected by this notice are not released for general sale outside Japan. However, in certain very limited cases, customers have purchased the parts outside Japan. Customers who have purchased affected parts in the past two years will be contacted either directly or via their distributor partners (depending on point of purchase). Refer to the list below for the affected discontinued series, and recommended replacements, if available. Last time buys will be accepted until close of business (Central US time), May 31, In the event that demand for discontinued product exceeds available supply, 3M reserves the right to allocate available supply in good faith, at 3M s sole discretion. Replacement Parts Replacement parts are available in several instances. Refer to the below list for details. Customer must evaluate the recommended replacement part to determine if the replacement part is suitable for Customer s application and intended use.
