1 Astimax IPV (data sheet/specification) Astimax IPV is a cloud based PBX that adapts to all your possible needs. An elaborate feature set offers you a wide variety of choices. Astimax IPV combines the amenities of an established PBX appliance with the merits of a cloud based solution. Be sure to benefit from unique features like Astimax Speech to Text (Astimax VMSTT), seamless takeover, or integration of webrtc. Furthermore, Astimax IPV is not just another anonymous cloud service. The caller can leave a message. But listening to the recorded message may not always be immediately possible with regard to business meetings or public events. You do not want others to listen in. With Astimax VMSTT you have an easy way of voice message retrieval. Astimax VMSTT uses speech to text transcription to convert voice mail messages into text messages which then can be read discretely and at your convenience. This feature comes with additional advantages for users: The human brain processes written information up to 7 times faster than spoken words. Furthermore, your messages can be archived and searched by keywords for certain information. Astimax Seamless Takeover Seamless takeover is a great feature to facilitate your everyday business. Flexible call routing Astimax offers numerous routing options by using parameters like IP-addresses, source, destination, provider or gateway. Utilize POSIX compliant expressions to modify source numbers as well as destination numbers. Data Security Astimax IPVs are hosted in secure and reliant data centres equipped with redundant broadband connectivity and up-to-date security measures. Astimax ACD Statistics Astimax ACD Statistics is the basis for individual call evaluation. Analyses can be created for separate call queues or cumulated across all call queues. Astimax ACD Monitor Astimax ACD Monitor facilitates the day to day management of call queues. With the real-time status breakdown you are able to identify bottlenecks and eliminate them as soon as they occur. Astimax ACD SiMo Astimax SiMo or silent monitoring is an effective method for training call centre agents. Three different types are available: listening in to a call, whispering to the agent, i.e. only the agent hears what is said, or participation in the dialogue. Authorization for silent monitoring can be set with Astimax Admin by the system s administrator. Astimax ACD Recording Record a pre-defined percentage of incoming call queues and use those records for managing call centre quality. Unified Communication Astimax systems contain various modules for unified communication. Fax2mail ensures that incoming faxes are delivered by with attached PDF file. IDAS (integrated digital alarm system) IDAS helps you to manage situations where it is a top priority to reach one or more persons responsible to resolve certain situations (e.g. escalation management). IDAS calls can be initiated as conference or hierachized calls. Logging as well as call acknowledgment by DTMF is available for all alarm calls. Furthermore, alerts can be configured in addition to alarm calls. Integration of mobile phones Thanks to FMC (fixed mobile convergence) integration of mobile phone is effortless and eliminates the need for call forwarding. The optional app Astimax Mobile for Android takes integration one step further towards perfect ONS (one number service). Astimax Mobile converts mobile phones into fully operational extensions. Configure call forwarding with the touch of your fingertip or access the Astimax directory all with your mobile device. With the direct access to Astimax directory there is no longer any need to synchronize the mobile phone s directory or maintain duplicate directories for business and private contacts. 2

3 Astimax operator panel (Astimax VPL) Astimax VPL operator panel is a flexible and easy-to-use tool that can be deployed on any given PC. At a glance you find presence information about extensions, parking positions, and call queues on a clearly arranged panel. Display of incoming calls is replenished with information provided by the Astimax appliance, e.g. directory listings or VIP status labelling. The operator panel allows for maximum flexibility: 48 arrays can be configured as call queue, parking position or busy lamp fields and freely arranged within the grid. Busy lamp fields display presence information and can be used as speed dial buttons. Any workstation with a PC and telephone can be used as operator by simply logging in and off to Astimax operator panel. Astimax Lifetime With Astimax Lifetime you get software maintenance, upgrades and new features for Astimax systems. Subscribers receive Astimax release notes providing information on updates, upgrades, news and need-to-know facts for Astimax systems. In the following you will find answers to frequently asked questions and information on recurring problems and special characteristics of Astimax IPV systems. VoIP provider, SIP trunks Our Astimax support team can help you with the configuration of SIP trunks of any provider. Existing LAN Your existing LAN needs to be VoIP ready. Our support team can advise you and help you to analyse and plan your LAN. When using the features like alerts for voic , voic transcription, fax2mail etc. a working infrastructure for services is required. TAPI In order to use the Astimax TAPI connector it is necessary to install third party TAPI drivers on your workstations. How the Astimax support teams can assist you Our Astimax team supports you with expertise and longstanding experience. Below you find listed some of our consulting services: Migration support Migrating to a new telephone system can be tricky. We assist you with the migration process, help you to develop a suitable call flow or transfer existing call flows to Astimax IPV. On-site installation In case your company does not have IT personnel we can assist you with deployment and installation of user devices on-site. Telephone support hotline Please contact our support hotline with any questions or issues regarding Astimax IPV. During business hours the support hotline is available to all customers. Support will be charged according to the hourly rates of your Astimax Care support contract. Customers without a valid service contract will be advised of the current hourly rates. Dialer The deployment of dialers while using Astimax IPV is prohibited. Backup and system recovery There is no automated backup of individual configurations. Liability for generating backups lies with the user. Our Astimax support team is happy to advise you on backup possibilities with Astimax IPV.
