It was agreed that the term Master should be used for the technology that sits in the meter and has functionality that includes the Network Coordinator. The Network Coordinator would communicate to Slave s. That is, the registration will only allow the appliance operation to be limited. However, if the Slave device is an In Home Display, it won t work until registration has been effected. 2. If the Slave device (such as an Air Con.) is deregistered, the appliance will operate in the 100% mode as we would normally epect.
