1 UNIVERSITY OF Kashmir Hazratbal, Srinagar Tender Notice For Branded items for Computers & Xerox Machines etc Sealed tenders affixed with revenue stamp worth Rs. 6/- are invited from authorized dealers of reputed/registered companies having TIN and PAN in the name of the Firm, for the supply of various consumable items of Xerox Machines/Copy Printer and Computer Printers viz-a-viz Toners, Cartridges Coloured/ Black & White/ Muster Roll/Ink etc alongwith refilling of such items for all kinds of such machines installed in the University of Kashmir for the year on below mentioned terms and conditions. Tenders should be addressed to the Registrar, University of Kashmir Hazratbal, Srinagar and should reach his office upto 3 p.m of June 15,2015 Terms & Conditions 1. Each tender shall be accompanied with attested Photostat copies of TIN,PAN in the name of firm and upto date Tax (VAT) Clearance Certificate on the prescribed Form 46 issued by Assessing Authority of the concerned Department; 2. Each tender shall be accompanied with Earnest money of Rs. 20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) in the shape of CDR, Pledged to Registrar, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar. 3. The tenders should be type written/ computerized on valid printed Letter Heads of the firm and duly signed with seal on all pages of the tender documents. The tender with over-writings/cuttings or with additions/alternations shall be rejected. 4. A rate list, as on date issued by the company be attached with the tenders alongwith the Dealership Certificate of the company. However, the rates for refilling be quoted separately. 5. Conditional or incomplete tenders will not be entertained; 6. In case the approved dealer causes unnecessary delay in making the supply or fails to deliver any item/ items as per the supply order, a penalty depending on merits of each case, shall be imposed on the dealer, which may include forfeiture of Earnest Money or cancellation of the supply order and the 1

2 University shall be at liberty to take any action as warranted under rules and no payment will be made if not found as per the supply order. 7. The rates will be fixed and approved on the basis of the maximum rebate given by the dealer on company rates on all items and shall remain in force upto the end of financial year or till the fresh tenders are floated and rates approved. However the items supplied should be FOR University. 8. The University also reserves the right to further negotiate the rebate with the bidders given by him on company rates. 9. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in part or full without assigning any reason thereof; 10. In case of any dispute, decision of the Vice-Chancellor shall be final and binding on the parties. 11. The right to appeal will be within the jurisdiction of Srinagar courts only. 12. A detailed performance report, if any be attached with the tender document (especially University work). 13. A satisfactory report certificate by the concerned be attached if worked or approved by the Kashmir University previously. 14. A financial transaction Certificate worth at least Rs Lacs for the financial year be attached with the tenderer.
