2 New panel, new ethos New series of panel all types will eventually follow this format Colour coded terminals with generic numbering all will be the same Motor 1 is now 1 st to open 2 nd to close use for single motor systems Logics have numeric options 1 = ON 0 = OFF Some logics have multiple options (e.g. 1 8 for safety) Programmable command circuits Programmable safety circuits Panel will control 24v electromechanical swing gate operators Introduces D Track technology to all 24v operators

4 Quick Menu Layout At each stage wait for default to be displayed and then adjust up or down to select the appropriate setting. Language Not type No. Not Dir Pre set Auto set Mem Remotes Language Motor type Number of motors Internal or external opening (Left or Right 1 st to open) Logic setting pre set Set torque curve Add transmitters This will result in an initial functioning system, do not run this menu again as the panel will return to initial settings, all further adjustments must be made via the traditional menu.

6 Motor Wiring & Direction Setting * Eli (Type1) * Igea (Type 3) * Direction setting 1 st to Open on Left = Ext. (1) 1 st to Open on right = Int.(0) Phobos (Type 2) (direction setting is not required for rams unless reverse geometry is being used)

7 Method Set the motors in place on the correct geometry (plumb with top hinge for under ground or A = B for rams) Set the limit switch positions Connect up the motor and supply cables (Single motor systems use motor 1 connections) Do not connect any accessories at this stage and leave all jumpers in place Run the Quick menu press OK once Follow the prompts to Auto set Do not use the quick menu again! (settings will be returned to initial values) For all further adjustments use the traditional menu Increase OPEN FORCE and CLOSE FORCE to about 25% Increase SLOW SPEED to about 35% Check leaf force Add accessories one at a time and check function before moving on

14 Machine Directive Compliance Increase close delay time to give 700mm between leaves at closing Increase slow distance to ensure leaf 1 is in slowdown at 700mm Test force/time at 500mm distance in line with the motor (bottom of gate for undergrounds) Adjust force and slow speed to just below the limit Note; If radical geometry or wind affected gates are used it may not be possible to achieve a pass, in this case safe edges may be required Do not reduce open/close force to below 10% Do not reduce slow speed to below 20% Run a full set of tests and address all other risks as appropriate
