To scroll through the other parameters, use the UP and DOWN kes; to change the parameter, press and release, then the desired value using the UP and DOWN kes, and confirm with the ke to move to the next parameter. PSSWORD The password allows access to programg parameters. In the standard configuration password is not present. To enable and assign it the desired value, access the Programg menu, within the folder with the dis label. If password is enabled, ou will see it at the entrance of the Programg menu. MNUL CTIVTION OF THE DEFROSTING CYCLE To manuall activate the defrosting ccle, press the UP ke for 5 seconds. If defrosting conditions are not present, (for example the evaporator probe temperature is higher than defrost stop temperature), the displa will blink three (3) times, in order to indicate that the operation will not be performed. COPY CRD The Cop Card is an accessor connected to the TTL serial port which allows programg quickl the instrument parameters. The operation is performed as follows: Fr-Format This command allows cop card formatting, an operation recommended in case of first use. Warning: if the cop card has been programmed, using the Fr the data entered are erased. This operation cannot be cancelled. UL-Upload This operation loads the programg parameters from the instrument. Defrost larm ON when defrosting; blinking in case of manual enabling ON when the alarm is enabled; blinking when the alarm is silenced Fans ON when the fan is working
2 dl-download This operation downloads to the instrument the programg parameters. The operations are performed accessing the folder identified b the FPr label and selecting, according to the case, UL, dl or Fr commands; the operation is confirmed b pressing the ke. If the operation is successful an is displaed, on the contrar, if it fails a n will be displaed. NOTE: UPLOD: instrument > Cop Card DOWNLOD: Cop Card > instrument. KEYBORD LOCKING The instrument includes a facilit for disabling the keboard, b programg the Loc parameter (see folder with dis label). If the keboard is locked, ou can still access the programg menu b pressing the SET ke. The Setpoint can also be viewed. DIGNOSTICS The alarm condition is alwas signalled b the buzzer (if present) and b the led of the alarm icon The alarm signal produced b a fault thermostat probe (referred to probe ) is shown as E on the instrument displa The alarm signal produced b a fault evaporator probe (probe 2) is shown as E2 on the instrument displa. The error condition of the probe (thermostat) causes the following: viewing E code on the displa Probe faults table DISPLY E E2 FULT Fault probe (thermostat) Fault probe 2 (st evaporator) If simultaneous, the will be showed on the displa alternatel, ever 2 seconds compressor enabling as indicated b and OFt parameters, if these are programmed for dut ccle or: > > OFt > > Compressor output ON dc The error condition of the probe 2 (evaporator) causes the following: viewing E2 code on the displa end of defrost because of time-out. Other signalling alarm are not shown on the instrument displa, but from the Machine Status menu within the L folder. The signals for maximum and imum alarms do not appear on the instrument displa but are viewable on the Machine Status menu in the L folder, with the label H or L. The regulation of the maximum and imum temperature alarm refers to the thermostat probe. The temperature limits are defined b the parameters HL (maximum alarm) and LL (imum alarm). DISPLY LRM H High temperature alarm (referred to the thermostat probe or probe L Low temperature alarm (referred to the thermostat probe or probe ) To silence alarms press an ke. INSTLLTION The instrument is designed for panel mounting. Make a hole of 29x7 mm, insert the instrument and fix it using the brackets provided. Do not mount the instrument in humid andor dirt places; it is suitable for use in ordinar polluted places. Ventilate the place in proximit to the instrument colling slits. ELECTRICL WIRING ttention! Never work on electrical connections when the machine is switched on. The instrument is equipped with screw teral boards for connection of electrical cables with a diameter of 2.5 mm 2 (one conductor onl per teral for power connections). For the capacit of the terals, see the label on the instrument. In the model ID974E with Switching power suppl onl one voltage free rela output is present, on all other models on the contrar all rela outputs are voltage free..do not exceed the maximum current allowed; in case of higher loads, use an appropriate contactor. Make sure the power suppl voltage complies with the one required b the instrument. In 2V versions the power suppl must be provided b a securit transformer with the protection of a delaed 25 m fuse. Probes have no connection polarit and can be extended using a regular bipolar cable (note that the extension of the probes affects the EMC electromagnetic compatibilit of the instrument: pa extreme attention to wiring). Probe cables, power suppl cables and the TTL serial cables should be distant from power cables. CONDITIONS OF USE PERMITTED USE For safet reasons the instrument must be installed and used according to the instruction provided and in particular, under normal conditions, parts bearing dangerous voltage levels must not be accessible. The device must be adequatel protected from water and dust as per the application and must also onl be accessible via the use of tools (with the exception of the frontlet). The device is ideall suited for use on household appliances andor similar refrigeration equipment and has been tested with regard to the aspects concerning European reference standards on safet. It is classified as follows: according to its manufacture: as an automatic electronic control device to be incorporated b independent mounting; according to its automatic operating features: as a B-tpe operated control tpe; as a Class device in relation to the categor and structure of the software UNPERMITTED USE n other use other than that permitted is de facto prohibited.
