These robust connectors are available with a secondary retainer to ensure the contacts are fully seated and locked into the housings to prevent accidental release. The positive locking system is designed to fit inside the envelope of the header making it possible to stack the headers close together and still be able to release the positive lock. Available in 2 to10 circuits, the locking mechanism is designed for a secure and stable connection ideal for high vibration applications. An audible click is heard and felt when mating the plug housing assembly with the mating half. With the use of an optional secondary retainer, the contacts are fully seated and locked into the housings making it ideal for a high vibration environment.
