3 1414/1818 Dispensing Systems for Stand-Alone Applications CAMALOT 1414/1818 systems are stand-alone liquid dispensing systems for applications in surface mount assembly, semiconductor packaging, industrial or automotive assembly, gasketing, research and development, process calibration and lowto-medium production. These systems are built on a robust platform and may be configured with a variety of options to meet your specific application. The 1414 and 1818 systems are ideal platforms for research and development labs. The platforms allow engineers to develop processes off-line that can be scaled up to in-line platforms when requirements grow. The systems utilize lead screws and servo motors (with closed-loop encoders) on all three axes to assure smooth, precise and accurate dispensing with an easy to use enhanced Graphic User Interface. Model 1414 has a dispensing area* of 14 x 14 inches (356mm x 356mm) and is available with separate sturdy workbench. Model 1818 has a maximum dispensing area* of approximately 18 x 18 inches (457mm x 457mm) and includes a separate table for the computer and monitor. AVAILABLE OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Touch probe Z-axis sensor, magnetic fixtures, hot plate, Weight Measurement System, auto weight calibration (for process control), auto needle calibrator, manual or auto-correction vision system, liquid level sensing, CCD laser height sensing, bulk material feed systems, along with a variety of CAMALOT pumps. CE versions are also available. * Various options may reduce dispense area. Optional Accessories Toggle Head Allows for multiple materials to be dispensed by one system, such as dam- and fillmaterials. Also available with non-contact laser Z-height sensor. Shown with optional touch probe. Vision Alignment Auto vision alignment or manual fiducial programming vision for easy setup. Operator aligns the cross-hairs on fiducials and software corrects for X, Y and theta. Tooling Magnetic fixtures or hot plates with and without vacuum tooling. Adjustable, flexible tooling plates allow operator to position multiple boards, of various sizes, on the dispensing surface at one time. Auto Needle Calibrator To ensure accuracy, the calibrator automatically compensates for any change in the X, Y and Z position of the needle tip as a result of changing needles during production.
