14 Initial marketing was begun in 2009 and the assessment is that the aforementioned strategy is necessary in order to capture the market We have the extremely expert marketing and technical capacity in David Brocklebank and Klaus Haschke who will do the marketing and sale together with Flemming Bo Pedersen The physical marketing will be telephone, mail, professional networks, meetings with ANSPs, CAAs and Airport Operators optimising meeting and presentation time on site. ASW Technology has a full scale demonstrator of the ASW Barrier System which is essential in presentations and discussions with ANSPs and CAAs

15 In 2014 ASW Technology ApS (ASW) was invited to visit IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) ASW capability presentation was made in June in advance of a tender for remote towers (rtwr), electronic flight strips (EFS) and optional runway incursion detection capability at Cork and Shannon Airports Preferred contractor for supply of RTWR and EFS was selected Q (Saab) When RTWR and EFS are in place at Cork and Shannon airports it is possible that each will be upgraded with SMGCS (Surface Movement Guidance and Control System) capability RTWR and EFS will be implemented before IAA assesses gaps in runway and taxiway surveillance The independent IAA assessment is that ASW is in a unique position to win any gap-filling contract ASW Technology Aps is registered supplier to Ireland, approved by IAA Action: ASW is to visit as soon as possible with test deployment of ASW Barrier System (one gate) at Cork and Shannon airports

17 The requirement: Hold Line Surveillance System (HLSS) A surveillance system located at runway entry and exit points that will detect when the nose, or the tail of an aircraft are clear of runway protected areas/hold short lines. This capability is expected to provide controllers with additional awareness of when aircraft are clear of the runway beyond what is provided from existing A-SMGCS (or the new AGLCMS) system, the FPCS, and the PTZS. This capability will include a real-time monitor that will display aircraft that are crossing a Hold Line sensor. Industry Partner will propose the choice of display solution

21 Does CAA believe that A-SMGCS has the capability to provide Runway Incursion Prevention? NO! (ATC Operation section totally clear on this) Does the CAA believe that EFS has the capability to provide RIP capability? NO!
