School Workforce Census 2013 Integris G2 has been updated to include all of the required changes in preparation for the School Workforce Census The date for the 2013 return is: Thursday 7 th November 2013 The main functionality for completing the census return in Integris G2 same as remains the Full details from the DfE in all aspects of the 2013 School Workforce Census can be found here: 3

4 2. s and their Sets Report Update An update to the s and their Sets report has been provided as part of Integris G2 v This provides an Export option which produces a.csv file listing all of the students and the teaching sets that they are members of alongside additional contextual information. The export has also been specifically designed so as to allow the easy production of an import file into the SISRA system. 2.1 s and their Sets Export option There is now an Export option available from the s and their Teaching Sets report criteria definition screen. Selecting this option as the report format will generate a.csv file report. The sort order of the export report is important and in most cases should be set to have the sort order by Name. 4

5 There is also an option to add a Secondary Sort field as well. The export option will output a.csv file with the following fields: Column Header Name Ref Exam Number Gender Ethnicity SEN Status Code Gifted and Talented Eligibility for FSM Looked After Ever FSM Year Class English as Additional Language Language of Tuition Language Spoken at Home Mother Tongue Service Child Code Subject Teaching Set Teachers Data Category Set Set Set Set The option to Hide Repeating Details can be ticked if required. When combined with the sort order of Name this will produce a file with details listed by student but with the students name only shown once. 5

6 3. Assessment Planning Enhancements 3.1 Editing Calculations A change has been made that allows you to edit the calculation or calculation type for a Calculated Column where not all of the components exist in the current plan. In this scenario, clicking on the Calculated Column Builder icon when editing a Calculated Column presents you with the following message: This calculation uses columns that are not present in this Assessment Plan. If you choose to edit the Calculated Column then you will need to recreate the calculation, and will be restricted to using only columns in the current Plan. Do you want to continue? (Yes/No) Clicking on Yes then displays the Calculated Column Builder. The existing values for the Result Data Type, Lookup Set (if applicable) and Calculation Type are retained. Any previously selected columns for the calculation that do exist in the Plan continue to exist in the calculation but any previously selected columns that do not exist in the plan are no longer displayed. 3.2 Changing Calculation and/or Result Type New functionality has been added to Integris G2 which allows you to edit and change a calculation type or result type within an existing calculated column. This functionality currently only applies to calculated columns that are not being used in other calculations elsewhere in the system. Edit buttons have been added to the Calculated Column Builder pop-up screen. 6

7 Clicking on either of these will enable the drop-down menu which then enables you to select either an alternate Result Data Type or alternate Calculation Type. If you choose to change the Calculation Type then you will be advised that this will remove all components of the calculation and you will need to create the calculation from scratch, with the added proviso that you will only be able to link to components currently in the plan. 7

8 4. Service Call Item Resolutions The following additional items have been addressed as part of the Integris G2 v release. Where an item has been given a reference number on our internal tracking systems, this is listed for your convenience. Reference Requirement Detail System Management > Preferences > Letter Template: A SQL error is displayed when you try to delete a template that has been used for a student document Assessment>Analysis>Group Comparison for Single item: When trying to produce an analysis grid within Integris a message appears saying 'No matching students available for the selected criteria'. Data for this calculation is in the Markbook RTP>Utilities>Download Reports: The system is not downloading the full list of reports to a zip file when selected General>School Diary: Some users experienced and issue with adding a new school year Attendance>Test batch process: This is not working for Welsh schools Assessment>Analysis>Group Comparison for Single item: Group Comparison Table screen does not refresh when you change items in the drop down. These do work in Graph mode School Work Force Census > Assign SWF Categories: The Populate From Contracts option does not work unless you visit the link School Work Force Census -> SWF Census Reports > Attendance > Analysis Reports > Attendance Return Report > if you select to ignore students over or under a specific age on a specific date, the report includes students who are that exact age on that exact date, it should ignore those students Exam Administration>Candidate Exam Seating>Fields Output: Standard with Complex Sessions / Extended with Complex Sessions This option does not include any data in the generated report 8

9 Assessment>Analysis>Group Comparison for Single item In some instances this doesn't update with the update of the Assessment Markbook Values General> Details: Duplicate students are being displayed when navigating through a browse set on the Key Stage tab. 9
