1 Unified Payment I.Functions The Unified Payment service offers three functions Unified RMB Payment, Unified Foreign Currency Payment and Unified External Payment ", and renders the agency payment service in both Renminbi and foreign currencies to group customers enabling the cash management service with the Bank, thereby satisfying their demand for unified management of external payments of members. II.Service Time & Charging Standard Unified RMB Payment : Relevant fee is included in the over all cash management service fee and collected, and the service supports the following time: Intra-BOC payment : Some support the 7*24h processing (direct payment is not processed during the data processing time at night). Interbank payment: The service supports the 7*24h processing of the payment in an amount of no more than RMB50,000, and the processing time is 9:00-17:00 of the working day for a payment in an amount above RMB50,000. Unified Foreign Currency Payment: The online banking supports the business acceptance around the clock, and the processing time is 5*8h. Relevant fee is included in the over all cash management service fee and collected. III.Service Limit Customers can set the limits for the unified payment in Renminbi and foreign currencies at their own discretion when enabling the overall cash management service. There are no limits for the unified external payment. IV.Business Rules 3

4 i.unified RMB Payment 1. Single Entrustment: A single agency payment transaction initiated in Renminbi. View Amount Available for External Payment: You can use this function to inquire about the available amount, available limit and amount available for external payment in the current payer account to ensure a successful completion of the current transaction. Payee: With this function, you can either enter any 6-digit continuous account number into the account number field to find payee information you have maintained, or directly enter complete account number, account name and account opening bank information to add and maintain payee information. Click the Magnifier after the account number field, you can use account number, account name, account opening bank and payee number as the keyword to inquire about payee information you have maintained.payees available for use include payees of member institutions under the group. Save as Common Payee: With this function, you can select either to save added payee information as a common payee, and after saving, you can quickly find payee information with a 6-digit continuous short account number. Contracted Account: With this function, you can directly select an account of your company or group that has applied for this online banking function as the payee account to execute the transaction directly. Purpose: With this function, you can manually enter purpose information for each transaction, or maintain common purposes so as to directly select these purposes for subsequent transactions. Under every function, you can maintain at most 10 common purposes, which can be set under the self-service banking. Payment Method: With this function, you can select either real-time payment or reserved payment. You can select real-time payment if you hope to make areal-time payment after final authorization, or select reserved payment if you hope to make a payment after certaint ime point. The reserved time period is an integral hour within the following month. Processing time of interbank large transactions is restricted by the processing time of the PBOC. Customer Business Number: Withthis function, you can allocate a customer-defined transaction number to every payment transaction to facilitate inquiry about transaction information, but customer business numbers of one 4

5 company within one year can t be the same. Processing Priority: With this function, you can designate processing priorities of transactions. SMS Alert to Payee: With this function, you can actively send an SMS alert to the payee to remind the payee of checking the received fund in time when the transaction succeeds. If you have saved the payee s mobile phone number in the payee information, the number will be automatically displayed, or you can use this function to add the payee's mobile phone number, and auto matically save the number in the payee information so that the number will be automatically displayed during subsequent transactions. 2. Batch Entrustment: An RMB agency payment transaction initiated by batch. With this function, you can at one time initiate a batch transaction as an agent for more than one actual payer. The actual payer, payment date and processing priority of all transactions are the same. This function supports at most 20 transactions submitted each time. After transaction information is submitted, the will feed back the batch number in areal-time manner, and send the information to the checker or authorizer for processing. Information of the entire batch transaction can be viewed or processed via the batch number during check, authorization, inquiry or other operations. 3. Upload Batch Files: With this function, you can download the batch file generation tool provided by BOC, prepare batch transfer files in the TXT format, and then upload the files to the online banking to initiate batch RMB unified payment transactions. One batch supports at most 1,000 transactions per batch. After upload of the batch file, the will feed back a transaction batch number in a real-time manner, and you can inquire about the upload result with the Processing Result of Files Uploaded within 10 Days. If upload of the entire batch file fails, please modify the file and upload the entire batch file again. If upload of some transactions fails, please modify these transactions only, and upload the file again. 4. Modify: Modify a unified RMB payment transaction instruction returned by the checker or authorizer If the transaction information contains errors, you can modifythe original transaction information, andsubmitthe information to the checker or authorizer for re-examination and processing. 5

6 To terminate the transaction, you can delete the transaction to be modified, and after deletion, you can no longer initiate the transaction, but can inquire about it with the inquiry function. 5. Check: Check a unified RMB payment transaction instruction initiated by your company or another member within the group List of Transactions to Be Checked: Display all transactions requiring your check as default List Display Style: Withthis function, you can select different display styles, depending on data items that are to be checked. After you set a default display style, the will automatically present the default style when you use this function every time. Inquiry Condition: When there are many transactions to be checked, you can set multiple inquiry conditions to screen transactions to be checked and processed. Processing Opinion: Include check approved, check rejected and check returned. Check approved means you recognize the transaction information, and agree to initiate the transaction, check rejected means you think the transaction information contains errors and needs to be returned to the entrusted operator for modification and initiation again, and check rejected means you think the transaction information contains errors, and directly terminate the transaction without initiation. 6. Authorize: Authorizea unified RMB payment transaction instruction initiated by your company or another member within the group List of Transactions to Be Authorized: Display all transactions requiring your authorization as default. List Display Style: With this function, you can select different display styles, depending on data items that are to be checked. After you set a default display style, the will automatically present the default style when you use this function every time. Inquiry Condition: When there are many transactions to be authorized, you can set multiple inquiry conditions to screen transactions to be authorized and processed. Processing Opinion: Include authorization approved, authorization rejected and authorization returned. Authorization approved means you recognize the transaction information, and agree to initiate the transaction, authorization rejected means you think the transaction information contains errors and needs to be returned to the 6

7 entrusted operator for modification and initiation again. At the time of authorization rejected, the authorizer can enter the comments on the rejection, and the modification teller can check the message function for such comments; and authorization rejected means you think the transaction information contains errors, and directly terminate the transaction without initiation. Transaction Exceeding Validity Period: It means a transaction with the designated payment date earlier than the current date, and is processed in the same flow as that for a transaction not exceeding validity period. The authorization result page will display the summary information on the transactions exceeding validity period and transactions not exceeding validity period respectively. 7. Cancel: Cancel a unified RMB payment transaction instruction that has been sent to the Bank but not been processed yet, or withdraw a transaction that has not been processed by the approver. Inquiry Condition: When there are many transactions to be canceled or withdrawn, you can set multiple inquiry conditions to screen transactions to be authorized. Active With drawal: With this function, you can actively withdraw and terminate transactions that have not been checked by checker or authorizer. To initiate transactions again, please initiate transactions again. 8. Online Banking Operation Record Inquiry: Inquire about records and processing results of a unified RMB payment transaction instruction initiated through the online banking channel You can inquire about and download the online banking operation records within one year, with a maximum time span of single inquiry at three months. List Display Style: With this function, you can select different display styles, depending on data items that are to be checked. After you set a default display style, the will automatically present the default style when you use this function every time. ii. Unified Foreign Currency Payment 1. Entrustment: You can make an agency payment transaction in foreign currency in a single transaction to a domestic/overseas account. View Amount Available for External Payment: You can use this function to inquire about the available amount, available limit and amount available for external 7

8 payment in the current payer account to ensure a successful completion of the current transaction. Nominal Payer: The list of payers for whom the current actual payer can make agency payments. Payee Type: Payees are classified in terms of regions where payees accounts are opened, and include domestic payees and overseas payees. Pursuant to relevant laws and policies, data items entered vary to some extent against payee types. When the payee s account is opened in a bonded area or other special regions within the territory of the Chinese Mainland, the payee will be seen as an overseas payee. Designated Payment Date: It can be the current date to any day in the following one month. Payee: With this function, you can either enter any 6-digit continuous account number into the account number field to find payee information you have maintained, or directly enter complete account number, account name, account opening bank and correspondent bank information to add and maintain payee information. Click the Magnifier after the account number field, you can use account number, account name and payee number as the keyword to inquire about payee information you have maintained. Save as Common Payee: With this function, you can select either to save added payee information as a common payee, and after saving, youcan quickly find payee information with a 6-digit continuous short account number. Postscript:You can use this function to manually add the remittance postscript one by one. Customer Business Number: Withthis function, you can allocate a customer-defined transaction number to every remittance transaction to facilitate inquiry about transaction information, but customer business numbers of one company within one year can t be the same. 2. Upload Batch Files: With this function, you can download the batch file generation tool provided by BOC, prepare batch transfer files in the TXT format, and then upload the files to the online banking to initiate batch foreign currency unified payment transactions. One batch supports at most 1,000 transactions per batch. Support GPI remittance GPI remittance means a remittance that will be preemptively processed from the initiation by the remitting bank to the final entry by the receiving bank. At the same time, BOC will timely notify you of the fee and remittance processing status during the entire remittance process. The uniform payment in foreign currency supports the GPI outward remittance. When you make an order, the will add the judgment about the support for the GPI remittance. After you enter remittance currency, spot exchange account, exchange purchase account, other account, payee s account bank and payee s SWIFT code, the will automatically judge whether the GPI remittance is supported. If yes, the will select the GPI remittance by default. If the GPI is supported and Fee Payment Mode is set to OUR, the will support the calculation of the intermediate bank's fee. iii. Unified External Payment 1. Entrustment: A single agency payment transaction initiated in Renminbi. Total Amount of Current Period/Remaining Amount of Current Period: You can use this function to check the total amount and remaining amount for the agency payment in the current period set by the group before initiating a unified external payment. Check balance: With this function, you can inquire about the current balance and the available balance in the payer account to ensure the balance in the payer account 10

11 is enough to pay the current transaction before initiating the unified external payment transaction. Payee: With this function, you can either enter any 6-digit continuous account number into the account number field to find payee information you have maintained, or directly enter complete account number, account name and account opening bank information to add and maintain payee information.
