1 A little background The Creative Cloud is a new way to manage your Adobe software. By downloading the Creative Cloud, you will have access to a variety of Adobe programs, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and more. Before Beginning Log out of any existing Adobe accounts on both and the Adobe desktop application, if applicable. Uninstall all older or trial versions of programs (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere, or the Creative Cloud desktop app), preferably using the Adobe Uninstaller or Adobe Cleaner Tool. Getting started 1) You should have received an titled Access is granted. Enjoy All Apps plan from message@adobe.com. The contains a link to activate your account. Click Get Started 1 2) You will then be directed to the Adobe Sign In page. If you don t already have an Adobe ID associated with your USC you ll be asked to enter your name and create a password (the field should be automatically filled with your USC ). Accept the Terms of Use and click Continue. 3) If you already have an Adobe ID associated with your USC , simply type in your USC and Adobe ID password and click Sign In. 3 2 Note: If you have an already existing Adobe ID under a different , you cannot use that ID to accept your Creative Cloud invitation. 2 4) Once you ve signed in you ll be taken to the Adobe Dashboard. Select the Account icon at the top right of the page and click Manage Account on the pop up window that appears. 4 5) Verify that Adobe Enterprise Account is listed under the Plans & Products heading on the page. 5 6) Select your name in the upper right hand corner of the page and a new window will pop up. Click Desktop Downloads in the Creative Cloud Apps section. 6 Last updated: 02/02/2018 Page 2

3 7) You will be directed to a new page with a full listing of Creative Cloud desktop applications. Select Download for the Creative Cloud App (Note: Installation issues may arise at this stage of the process. See page 6 for details). 7 8) Adobe will ask for some additional information before the download begins. Fill in the required fields and click Continue. 8 9) The next page will say Creative Cloud: Get started and the Creative Cloud App installer should begin downloading. 4 10) After the download is completed find the Creative Cloud App Installer in your Downloads folder. For Macs it will be a.dmg file and for PCs it will be an.exe file. Double click the.dmg or.exe file to begin the installation. This will take a few minutes ) The Creative Cloud application will launch after installation is complete. If not, you should see the app in your Application folder. At first launch you will be asked to sign in using the Adobe ID you created earlier with your USC This Creative Cloud application will be how you access and download all the Creative Cloud programs available in the suite. 5 12) After signing in, select the Apps tab to view all the Adobe programs you have access to under your Creative Cloud membership ) Simply click Install next to any of the programs to begin installing it on your personal device. 13 Last updated: 02/02/2018 Page 5

6 Installation Issues When attempting to download Creative Cloud Applications, you may be presented with a page that states You are running an operating system that Creative Cloud no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms. In order to install you must be running a supported operating system. For Macs you must be running OS X or higher, and for PCs you must be running Windows 7 or later. If your personal device is running an older unsupported operating system you will not be able to download Creative Cloud until it is updated.
