Do you wish you had a sports car? The Sports Car Club is just for you! At our monthly meetings, members share ideas and learn from knowledgeable guest speakers. Exciting events include an annual road rally, car shows, picnics, contests, fundraisers, and a variety of members-only social activities. Call Dave at for all the details. Body 20-point Arial font 1. Open a new Word document. 2. Save the document as Zoom. 3. Margins should be the default margins of 1 (top, bottom, left and right). 4. Create the announcement shown above. Follow all instructions in the text boxes. 5. Select the heading and the sub-heading. Center them. 6. Center the picture between the heading and sub-heading. 7. Select the word Zoom in the heading and italicize it 8. Change the word monthly in the fourth sentence to weekly. 9. Select the following words one at a time in the paragraph and bold them: road rally, car shows, picnic, contests, and fundraisers. 10. Click somewhere in the last line of the announcement (Call Dave at for all the details.). Center it. 11. Preview the announcement. Make sure the announcement fits onto one page. Adjust the size of the picture if necessary. 12. Include your name, period, and date in the footer

Save the document as Puppy. 3. Margins should be the default margins of 1 (top, bottom, left and right). 4. Create the announcement shown above. Follow all instructions in the text boxes. 5. Select the heading and the sub-heading. Center them. 6. Select the heading and change to ALL CAPS. 7. Center the picture between the heading and sub-heading. 8. Select the word Please in the last line of the announcement. Italicize it. 9. Select the following words one at a time in the paragraph and bold them: purebred, playful, sweet, and three-generation. 10. Click somewhere in the last line of the announcement (Interested? Please call (607) ). Center it. 11. Preview the announcement. Make sure the announcement fits onto one page. Adjust the size of the picture if necessary. 12. Include your name, period, and date in the footer.
3 CREATE YOUR OWN ANNOUNCEMENT! 1. Open a new Word document 2. Save the document as Grand Opening. 3. Margins should be the default 1 (top, bottom, left and right). 4. On one page, create an announcement promoting the grand opening of your favorite store. 5. Include: a. A heading b. A sub-heading c. A picture d. A paragraph that describes the store and communicates to the reader all of the specifics of the grand opening (date, time, location, sales). 6. Center the heading and sub-heading. 7. Use bold, italics, and underline within the announcement to emphasize words or phrases. 8. Be creative. Change the font and font size to match the mood of the announcement. 9. Include your name, period, and date at the bottom of the page.
