1 BRAND STANDARDS V.1 April 2017

2 Introduction Welcome to the Oboz Footwear Brand Standards Guide. We ve created this resource to help create communication materials that bring the Oboz brand to life consistently and clearly. By following these guidelines, you will help unify the way our brand is communicated. It s how we signal the world that we re committed to building a truly world-class brand. BRAND ASSURANCE APPROVAL PROCESS We take the use and representation of our brand very seriously and expect our partners to do the same. Therefore, any use of our logo or design involving our brand must be approved before it is produced or released. Elements of this review include: adherence to the Oboz brand and graphic standards appropriate use of brand logos and proprietary marks proper use of copyright, trademark and service marks consistent and correct use of brand colors and fonts Please submit all work that has adhered to the standards within this document for review. 4 Primary Logo The Oboz logo is the most recognizable part of our company. It s a powerful symbol and needs to be treated as such. There are different ways we can use our logo and these variations are outlined below and on the following pages. Our logo has evolved over time so it is essential that only these approved versions of the logo be used. The primary Oboz logo is shown here. Use this logo whenever possible. COLOR OPTIONS 4

5 Primary Logo - Alternate Use the alternate version of our logo when space is limited or for simplicity of design if Footwear is not necessary. COLOR OPTIONS 35

6 Secondary Logo (The O Bug) The secondary logo was created specifically as a support element to the primary identity and should be used sparingly. The primary logo and the O bug can live in the same spaces, but should keep their distance. Consider this secondary logo as an accent or to be used as a graphic element. COLOR OPTIONS 6

7 O FIT Insole Logo The O FIT Insole logo was created as support for any communication about our proprietary insole and should only be used as such. COLOR OPTIONS 7

9 One More Tree Logo The One More Tree logo was created as support for any communication about our One More Tree program and should only be used as such. COLOR OPTIONS 9

10 Maintaining Logo Integrity CLEAR SPACE Clear space around our logos helps them stand out by separating them from all other copy or visual elements such as photography, logos or background patterns. 12 Trademarked & Registered Property In addition to our brand marks being trademarked and registered, care must be taken when using our company name and proprietary names in common type (non-logo form). 14 Brand Colors Color is one of the most fundamental means of establishing and communicating identity. Through the consistent use of color, people will learn to equate our Oboz green with our brand. PMS 368 is our Oboz green and helps define our brand. In addition, black and white are also important colors in the brand palette.
