3 Introduction Waitlist Queue Robot (WQR) is an application designed to check for flight availability on any waitlist sectors within bookings assigned to a specific queue. This application is designed to run on a dedicated PC so as to not interfere with a user but can also run on a PC used by a consultant. How it works: WQR checks the assigned queue for any bookings with a status code that matches the one entered in the GUI. If the same status code is found in the booking file, the application will check the availability for the class booked. If an availability of the class booked is found, an is sent to either an address in the booking or a generic address set in the application. This alert ensures that you don t miss the flight availability or spend precious time by manually checking each booking status. Installing Waitlist Queue Robot Waitlist Queue Robot is an added option to existing Travelport products. To run this product you will need to have a PC with Galileo Desktop installed. This application can be obtained by filling in the request form on the Travelport Customer Portal website for a small monthly fee. Prerequisites MS Windows XP or later. Galileo Desktop version 2. 4 Installation Details Waitlist Queue Robot is a single.msi install package file and uses a standard windows installation wizard. Waitlist Queue Robot installs into a sub directory of \Program Files\Travelport on 32 bit operating systems and \Program Files (x86)\travelport on 64 bit systems. Installation Steps Close Galileo desktop. Run the MSI file and click next to step through the installation process. Restart Galileo desktop. 5 Using Waitlist Queue Robot After completing the installation, a toolbar icon will appear in the Custom Viewpoint Toolbar. Starting Waitlist Queue Robot To run or start the Waitlist Queue Robot application, simply click on the WLR icon on the toolbar or by entering #WQR in Galileo Desktop terminal window: Click on the WLR icon in the Galileo Desktop toolbar. 6 Application configuration and usage When the application is launched the below screen appears. Default screen. Configuration A simple configuration is required within the application before it can operate. Queue Selection Enter the queue number you wish for QWR to monitor. The application will poll for bookings that are placed on this queue so any bookings that you want the application to check must be placed here. Enter the Queue number where the bookings are to be checked, in the above example queue 98 has been selected. Queue any waitlisted bookings to Queue 98 for monitoring. Adding an Address This address will only be used if no waitlist address is found in the booking file to send the notification to. Enter the address to use for alerts. Note: This feature will only work with Microsoft Outlook 2007 or above and must be installed and working on the PC where WQR is installed. 7 Changing the Log File Location The log file location is used to store a daily log of all activity for the application. To change the location simply click the Change button and navigate to a directory you wish to store the log files. The user must have full control permissions over the selected location to enable the creation and modification of the log files. The log files are created with the following naming convention QueueRobot_ddMMMyy.txt. These files need to be manually deleted when they are no longer needed. 8 Setting up Scheduler You can set how often the application should check all the bookings on the queue you specified in the set up. If WQR runs on a dedicated PC, you can set a schedule for it to check the queue on a regular time interval. To set up the scheduler, click on Use Schedule check box. By checking the Use Schedule box displays the Set Schedule button. Click on this button to show the Set Schedule window. Enter the start and end times ensuring you select am or pm also. Set the interval time you wish for the application to run Note: Start and end Times begin from 1 to 12 and the interval times are from 1 to 60 minutes. The application doesn t remove any bookings from the queue so at each interval a message will be generated for all bookings that have matched the criteria, thus the interval should be set to a sufficient time interval to allow your staff to react to the s generated. 9 Sign On Configuration Galileo host sign on is used by the WQR to sign into Galileo and run the queue checking process. The sign must be in the PCC for the queue to be checked and has an AG duty code assigned. Click to open the sign on screen. Set the sign-on to be used by the application and check the emulation box if required. Note: Emulation can only be done for one pseudo city. You cannot enter multiple pseudo city codes. Robotic Gtids and Sign on can be used on this application. Setting the Status Codes search The segment status codes that you want WQR to query are entered in Status to search for box. When WQR runs, it searches for the segment statuses in the bookings that match the ones you specified and does availability check for that class. If availability for the class is found an alert is sent to the specified address. A single or multiple status codes can be entered. When entering multiple codes, ensure that they are separated by a space. Travelport Waitlist Queue Robot User Guide

10 Running the Application To run WQR application, simply click the Start button. There are two modes in which the application will run; Scheduled and Single mode. Scheduled mode: If the Use schedule check box is ticked, WQR will run each day between the times and interval set in Set schedule. For the schedule to run, the GUI must be opened at all times. It is recommended that this option is used on a dedicated PC. Single mode: If the Use schedule check box is unchecked, WQR will only go through the queue a single time. This mode is suitable for used on a user s PC but one thing to keep in mind is that during the queue query process, WQR signs the user out and signs in using the sign on entered in the application. Once the query is complete, WQR will sign out of Galileo and a message box like below is displayed. The message displays the number of bookings that have been checked. 11 If an availability of the class booked is found, an alert is sent to either an address in the booking or to an address set in the application. Note: If there is no address entered in the booking file, then the alerts will be sent to the address entered in the application. 12 How to add a Waitlist to the booking file? When WQR finds availability for the class booked, it checks for a Waitlist address in the booking file. If the Waitlist address is not found then it sends the alerts to the address entered in the application. The booking address is defined with a TO and ending with /WAITLIST as per the example below. If no address is found or Outlook is not installed, the data will be sent to the log file. 13 Setting IMAP Address in Microsoft Outlook If you use Internet account, you will need to set up your POP or IMAP address in Microsoft Outlook. Example: Select Internet Travelport Waitlist Queue Robot User Guide

14 Fill in all the information required for Internet . The server information can be obtained from your ISP. Once you have completed, click TEST ACCOUNT CONNECTION to ensure that the settings are correct. If the test connection is successful, click NEXT to complete the set up.
