1 How to Access Software through My.Cerec.Com How to get Ortho & future software
2 Please follow the process outline in this presentation to access Ortho Please note that a customer can only access this software if they are currently on Ortho 1.1 or have taken the Ortho Training from a Patterson certified trainer after 5/14/2018 Users will receive a notification of how to log in and access the software. If a users wants to access the Ortho prior to their notification they can log into the site with the instructions provided to access the software. All information on how to access the software can be found in FAQ Customers should be directed to this FAQ instead of calling the PTC for the software as this will save them time. Go to and search by answer number
3 Customers will receive the following notification from Dear Valued CEREC Club Member, Sirona continuously strives to provide you with the tools necessary to deliver complete dental care for all of your patients' needs. From chairside restorations to orthodontics, and implant therapy, CEREC can do it all. Introducing the CEREC Ortho Software 1.2! With CEREC Ortho Software 1.2, users can expect the same great features that they have come to expect from CEREC Ortho 1.1 while also enhancing their experience with updates to their current platform. Here are just a few of the items you can expect from CEREC Ortho Software 1.2: Tools for standard model space analysis (Bolton, Nance, Moyers) are available for optional use within the MODEL Phase. Analysis results can be exported as a standard PDF file. During model analysis, models are generically recolored, showing teeth as standard white and gingiva as pink. This allows a less distracting and more pleasing presentation to the patient. EXPORT Phase has been restructured to make export options easier to find, grouping aligner manufacturers, other appliance manufacturers, and file exports into separate groups. Last used export options are always available at the top of the screen for easy access. The Set Model Axis step now shows the maxilla by default, and the center line has been lengthened to facilitate orientation of the median palatine suture. The software can be installed on other workstations to allow model space analysis to be performed while the CEREC unit is in use for scanning. A new STL export option has been added for 3D printing, which adds a minimal, watertight base geometry to the model. STL exports now always include in Bases added to models - Continued on next slide
4 continued Because of your current standing in the CEREC Club, this new software offering is available to you immediately on Navigate to the Members Area of the site in order to login to your account. All you will need is your dealer customer number and the password used to setup your account previously. You can now also use the address used to setup your account as your login. 5 When users click on the link They are taken to the page below & users need to click on Go to Member s area
6 After clicking on Go to Member s area users are directed to the following page If a user has used this site before and knows their dealer account number and password they can log in. If a user does not remember their password or has not used the site before and has received an with their dealer accoun t number and zip code they should click on Create an account to set a new password. If you do not know your dealer account number and zip code please ptc.support@pattersoncompanies.com to request this information. Please allow up to 1 business for a reply.
7 If you click on create an account it will direct you to the create account page where you need to choose your dealer, enter your dealer account number & zip code and then create your own password. There is no criteria for the password so be sure to create one you can remember. Once you have created the password click on Create Account and it will return you to the log in page to log in with your dealer account number and password. You should also use this if you forget your password in order to reset the password xxxxxxxxx
8 Once you log in you will see your account information and equipment. To access the software click on the link next to the machine you want to provide software for. If you have more than one Omnicam machine it is important that you click on the link listed under each machine as each link will provide a license unique for that machine. Note that if you click on the same link more than once it will provide the same license number each time and a license can only be used once per machine.
9 When you click on the link for the software it will direct you to the verification page. Complete the required information indicated by the * next the field and then click send download link After clicking on send download link the Congratulations page will provide the customer with the license number and download link. This will allow the customer to immediately access the license and download without needing to access the 2 nd sent.
10 When you click on the click here for the download, it will begin to save the file to the Omnicam If using Chrome it will automatically save it to the download folder and prompt the user to run it when the file is done downloading. If using Internet Explorer users should click on save and it will save to the download folder and prompt you to run it when its done It is Important that the file is saved to the machine first. Do not choose to run the file from the website.
11 Once the download is done it will ask if you want to run it. If you receive a prompt asking this type of file can harm your computer. Do you want to keep xxxx.exe anyway? Click Keep Click Open on the file & select run If prompted to run Windows updates you will need to allow updates to run prior to installing Follow the installation prompts to complete the software installation
