1 Profit Developers, Inc. (PDI) Registering For E-Services with the Florida Department of Revenue 1. Visit the Florida Department of Revenue website at: and select Enroll for tax e-services or update Profile. To access the e-services page directly Click Here 2. Next select, Start a new enrollment.

If you are an Agent and have been assigned an Agent ID from the Florida DOR and you are signing up a company/companies for UCT-6 (UNEMPLOYMENT) then select the second option Unemployment Tax Agents Only 4. All others select Business/Employers. Select Next to continue. 5. On the next screen please enter the Federal ID Number (FID) in the first box. If the company is registered under an individual and does not have a Federal ID Number please enter the Social Security Number in the box below. 6. After the FID or SSN has been entered please enter the Business Name or the Owner Name in the spaces provided below. Select, Next.

3 7. The next window will provide you with a Recovery ID. This will allow you to access this account/information if for any reason you need to stop. Please print this page for your records. Select Next when you are ready to continue. 8. Next, you will select the returns you will be filing for this company or individual. As you will see from the screen shot below, for this test client we have selected: Sales and Use Tax, Solid Waste & Surcharge, and Unemployment Tax. As well as offering file and pay for the selected returns, we also offer file and pay for the Corporate Income Tax, which is not selected. Select Next when you have completed this screen.

4 9. Sales Tax Enrollment: Enter the Certificate number in the correct format (XX-XXXXXXXXXX-X), Business Name, and Filing Method. Please select Software file & pay (ACH Debit) as the filing method to file and pay with the SAXTAX Software. Select Next when finished. 10. Unemployment Tax Enrollment: Enter the Unemployment Tax Account Number (UT Account), Federal ID Number, and Business Name in the spaces provided. If you do not have a FEIN you can simply enter the SSN. Please select Software file & pay (ACH Debit) as the filing method to file and pay with the SAXTAX Software. Select Next when finished.

5 11. The following screens will allow you to enter return contact information and payment contact information for each return selected. As you will see from the screen shot below, this screen is for the contact for the Sales and Use Tax Payment. Please read the top of each screen before entering the information to ensure you are entering the correct contact for each return or payment. Select Add This Contact when you have completed all necessary fields. On any following contact screens you can select the same contact you initially entered by choosing the Use Same Contact As field. This will enter the same contact information and move on to the next screen.

6 12. Enter the payment information on the following screen. This includes: The Account Type, Account Number, and Routing Number. Once this information has been entered select Add Above Account to continue. 13. The next screen is a final review before submitting the information. Please verify all information on this screen. Scroll down to the bottom, have the account holder type in their name and title for verification. Next select Submit Enrollment to complete the registration process. Please print the confirmation. Once this has been submitted it will take two business days for this registration to become active. Once this time has passed you will have the ability to efile your Florida return(s). Note: You will be provided with a Username and Password which will allow you access to the Florida Department of Revenue site, if it is ever needed. FL Sales Tax Users: You will also need to enter the Username and Password received into the SAXTAX Software. To do so, launch the SAXTAX Software and enter into that company s FL Sales Tax return. Next, go to the Setup menu and select EDI/Bank Setup and enter your Username and Password in the spaces provided. Select OK to save this data.
