1 What is the DDX Portal The DDX Portal uses the functionality of an FTP Server with some more comfortable options. You can send data directly to a person instead of downloading into a directory. Registration to the DDX Portal You will get Access to the DDX Portal via Web Browser. Please use the following Address: Now you will see the start page for the DDX Portal where you input your access data: Name: Password: your coded name your personal Password You can switch between englisch and german language. 2 After the correct input you will enter the main page of the DDX Portal. With Check available documents you can display a list off all documents which are available for download. On this page you can directly start the download. With Send Document you can Upload any file you need to send to us. With Log out you quit the session. If you use the option Check available documents, you will find al list with all available documents. Use the button right in the list to download the file. 3 Please select the path in which you want to store the file. With the button Homepage you will get back to the list. In the second list Received Documents you will found now a new entry which shows the current downloaded and saved document. Sending data via DDX Portal With the button Send Documents you can upload files to the DDX Portal. These files are automatically supplied to the selected Contact. Select the Factory (Company) and the Contact you will send documents. You can use the small Button at the end of the Input filed to get a list. Use Next. 4 On this page you can select the environment for your document and the document itself which you like to send. You can send only one document each time. Please create an archive, if you need to send more than one file. Please select files with a double click or with the marked symbol (Page with a plus sign). With the Upload button the transfer will be started. The system displays a message after sending the file to the DDX Portal and the selected contact will get a message by . Managing Usersin the DDX Portal The portal Admin can create, modify and delete user on the DDX Portal. It is also possible, to modify the Company data. 5 Add user: Fill out the form with all data about the new user. For the user name please use the mail address to enforce unique names over all partners. For the password there are existing following rules: Minimum length: 6 chars Use minimum 2 categories from the following Big letters A-Z Small letters a-z Numbers 0-9 Special chars from (! #$%& ()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{ }~) Please try to fill out all fields Modify user: J:\ALG\AKT\Info_allgemein\DDX_V6\Vorlagen (intern)\ddxv7_portal-userguide_eng.doc Page: 5 / 7

6 The existing data are displayed and could be modified: If you left the field New password free, the existing password is kept. Delete user: Pleas mark all user to delete in the first row. 7 Company info: Here you can change your Company information for all changes. Important Note: If you Add a new User on the Portal, please use as name the address of the user to enforce unique names.
