4 Introduction The Insurance Solutions web-portal will support two exclusive file formats, fixed length and comma delimited. Customers have the option to use one or the other format to load the input data to process the inquiries in batch mode. CLUE Auto Batch Fixed Length Input File Format CLUEA file consists of three 3 input files. The files are as listed below CLUA Header file This file is 73 bytes Subject File This section is 348 bytes which consists of Subject details and SSN information. Vehicle File - This section is 119 bytes which consists of VIN and vehicle information. Section 1 CLUA Header File The Header File consists of 73 bytes. 5 Business Rules for Key Order Information PRODUCT ID is always CLUS ^ (^ = Space). ORDER SEQUENCE - is an optional field which can be use to put sequence number on each record of the file. CASE ID - is a user defined field for your unit of business (i.e. policy number, etc). Case Id is a required field, every order within the batch must contain a Case Id. For blank CaseId, system will auto generate a single CaseId for the entire batch. This setup is configured at the Node/Account setup level.
