3 Overview: This application produces an extract file for input into the Equifax. The application will extract all person records, excluding person records based on the exclusion criteria passed via input parameters of the application. Key Benefits: For extracting the data, this application provides options to set up exclusion criteria via input parameters. The exclusion criteria can be any of the following: Birth date Person level warning(s) User field code(s) Unknown address Minor codes Processing: This application reads data from DNA database, checks for exclusion criteria and creates an extract file. The application checks for the following criteria. Person records with either no birth date or a birth date greater than the value entered in Birth Date parameter are not included in the extract. If any person has an active warning equal to a warning code entered in the Person Level Warning Bypass parameter, the person will not be included in the extract. Multiple codes can be specified in the input parameter. If the person has a user defined field populated that equals a user defined field entered in the Person User Fields Bypass parameter, the person will not be included in the extract. Multiple user field codes can be entered. If Address Unknown is set to Y and the person has a Primary Address where the address line includes the word UNKNOWN, the person is not included in the extract. Persons with blank address are also not included in the extract If a value is passed in Minor Code parameter then the application verifies that the person has an open account of the specified Minor account type. If not that person is skipped from extract. Persons with blank Tax Id are not included in the extract. This process produces only a report and an output file; it does not update the database. Minor Account Type Code. If a value is entered here, the application will verify that the person has an open account of the specified type. If not that person will be skipped. 7 Additional Requirements: Requires DNA 3.0 or Higher Configuration Checklist: Item Parameters Test Environment Production Environment Installation: Note: If you obtained this application from the DNAappstore, please disregard the installation instructions below. If you did not obtain this application from the DNAappstore, please complete the installation instructions below. Copy the PS_EQUIFAX_BEACON.SQT (Batch Process to the PS batch application directory; this is typically G:\OSI\BANK\BAT_EXE\PS (or the location specified in the BATP Institution Option). This application requires the running of the script PS_EQUIFAX_BEACON.SQL (Setup Script): Copy this file to any directory accessible to the applicable SQL application (SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, etc.) You need to run the setup script to register the application. In the System Module of DNA, go to Institution > Applications and enter the supplied Authorization Key for this application.
