3 What's New in this Release Important: If you have Move Update Server installed on the same machine as Architect for Job Files, you must first upgrade Move Update Server to the latest version ( ) before upgrading Architect for Job Files ( ). Fixed and addressed issues The following issues have been fixed or addressed in this release. Architect for Job Files Issues Issue number ACT-222 Concatenation was not correct for multi-line input addresses when '+' or '&' or '-' operators are used. Expected behavior: & concatenates fields with one space between elements + concatenates fields with additional padding to 20 characters for most fields - concatenates fields and trims all space between elements. ACT-379 ACT-571 ACT-1545 Customers reported that they were unable to use nested expressions within filters and received the following error: Error: Invalid Filter Architect for Job Files now supports complex filters.

4 Issue number ACT-550 Certain types of filters cause Architect for Job Files to process jobs more slowly than expected and can return, for example: Error: Line Number Unknown Error: Failed to evaluate ACT-566 ACT-572 Incorrect date elements are returned when posting dates derived from date functions such as date( ), dtoc( ), or Month( ). Note: Posting date data-type values to output is not supported. ACT-569 NCOALink Required Text Documents (RTD) have been updated with language that the USPS requires regarding name presentation. For more information, see NCOALink Serivce Provider Required Text Document. ACT-824 For non-us addresses for which the Country data was missing, Architect for Job Files concatenated the data in the City, State, and Zip fields into the City field. Records containing non-us addresses are uncorrected, and the data passes to the output unchanged.

5 Issue number ACT-951 A customer reported RunJobFile crashed when trying to run a specific job file. ACT-1030 ChrTran() function returns unexpected results when customers use the function to remove non-digit characters. ACT-1049 Architect for Job Files Linux defaulted to the incorrect CRLF character at the end of records when creating delimited.csv files. Architect for Job Files Linux now adds a LF at the end of records. In addition, the following command line option has been implemented so that you can explicitly run a job with UNIX behavior: /unix ACT-1199 Casing settings were not applied to uncorrected addresses. Architect for Job Files returned the records with the input casing unchanged. ACT-1286 The Address1 field is blank when output record is flagged as LACSLINK = Y and the input data is multiline. Architect for Job Files passes the Address 1 line data to the output.

6 Issue number ACT-1315 Some case.lst entries are being ignored, which results in inconsistent casing. Casing has been improved by a case lookup list and a Case All Fields flag. To enable, include the new Satori Architect block in your.ace file: BEGIN Satori Architect ==================== Casing File = C:\Program Files (x86)\ Satori Software\Satori Architect\case.lst Case All Fields = Y END The Case All Fields flag overrides entries in case.lst. You can find detailed information about case.lst in comments in that file. Note: If multiple words separated by a space need to be cased, each word must be entered in case.lst separately. For example, you can enter the following: De=DE La=LA Cruz=CRUZ However, you cannot enter this: De La Cruz = DE LA CRUZ

7 Issue number ACT-1444 In records with mutliline addresses with SWAP=Bottom, the last line of the address could be dropped after processing. ACT-1536 On some jobs, the number of records returned as DPV confirmed was incorrect and was less than the actual count. ACT-1778 The Architect for Job Files output from files containing data in packed decimal encoding in EBCDIC format files contained incorrect character codes for the EBCDIC encoding. CASS Issues Issue number ACT-59 ACT-893 ACT-1095 Street addresses that include a spelled out numbered street were not found. For example, an address containing "1234 Eleven Mile Rd" would return the following message: Street not found. With this release, these types of addresses are correctly recognized, and the address correction engine is able to review and update the address.

8 Issue number ACT-650 Delivery Point Validation fails when the secondary address is in line 1, and the primary input is on line 2. Error: Failed DPV because of missing secondary ACT-759 A secondary addresses of alpha characters is not recognized, and an incorrect address (without the secondary information) is returned in the output. Satori Architect correctly recognizes secondary addresses of alpha characters and outputs correct address data. ACT-922 Delivery Point Validation fails: Secondary information is not recognized, even though it is provided. Error: Failed DPV because of missing secondary ACT-1099 Certain street abbreviations were not recognized. For example, the following is representative of the types of valid, but not recognized, abbreviations: CT as COURT HTS as HEIGHTS VLG as VILLAGE or VILLA

9 Issue number ACT-1160 Some secondary information, for example, apartment number, is dropped when a record has been updated by LACSLink. ACT-1452 The secondary address is not output as the primary address and therefore does not validate.
