2 ESB Networks Market Release : June 2010 MCR0169 Addition of Vulnerable customer flag to 102 MM ver 2.0 MCR0162 SOLR Process ver 2.0 [remainder] MCR0161 Increase the threshold for connection agreement ver 1.1 MCR0164 Include Meter Multiplier on Extranet ver 1.0 MCR0171 Proposal to add Acceptance/Completion/Cancellation message to Meter Works design ver Non-Schema affecting report and this will be in conjunction with the technical upgrade of the market hub and MPCC MCR0169 Two New Fields in Schema DisplayOnExtranet Boolean added to four messages Outbound from Suppliers viz : VCAttributeDeleted Boolean added to one message Inbound to Suppliers viz 102 Additional Data to be displayed on Extranet MCR0169 Life/Non Life Flag MCR0164 Meter Multiplier Five existing messages are being changed 1

3 ESB Networks Market Release : MCR Implementation Date MCR0161 Increase the threshold for connection agreement ver 1.1 Implementation is being rescheduled for after the June release, exact date tba There is no impact on the schema and the Central Market Systems will remain available at implementation of this MCR ESBN and one Supplier plan to carry out testing for this MCR. There is not a planned IPT however should any Supplier wish to conduct a test with ESBN then please inform RMDS by 25 th March. 2

4 ESB Networks Market Release : MCR0169 Vulnerable customer Update 1 of 3 Letter ESBN will issue a letter to all customers with a Priority Support Connection circa early April and again for any subsequent changes to the list closer to the go-live day The template for this letter will be circulated as soon as the final review of the text completes And ESBN has been working with Suppliers to confirm the list of relevant Vulnerable Customers, and we are still awaiting responses from some New Field Display on Extranet ESBN will at go-live update a value of y or n in the new field display on extranet in the Central Market Systems for the relevant Vulnerable Customers For this initial value there is no requirement for Suppliers to send in an 013 message and there will be no 114 messages issued. Subsequently an 013 will be required for any change. and ESBN will after go-live confirm with the relevant Suppliers the values uploaded for their MPRNs 3

5 ESB Networks Market Release : MCR0169 Vulnerable customer Update 2 of 3 WIP COLE MM016 ESBN will send a list of MPRNs to each Supplier who has sent in an 016 and which is still in progress just after go-live, and where the MPRN meets the criteria listed below an 016 has been sent and is not yet completed and if a MedicalEquipmentDetailsCode is entered on the 016 and there was no display on extranet flag on the 016 WIP Energisation MM017 ESBN will send a list of MPRNs to each Supplier who has sent in an 017 and which is still in progress just after go-live, and where the MPRN meets the criteria listed below an 017 has been sent and is not yet completed and if 017 is for a Re-Energisation with a COLE and if MedicalEquipmentDetailsCode is entered on the 017 and there was no display on extranet flag on the 017 NB : For the identified MPRNs, each Supplier would need to check themselves if they need to send an 013 message to update the Display on Extranet flag once the COLE or Energisation completes. 4

6 ESB Networks Market Release : MCR0169 Vulnerable customer Update 3 of 3 WIP COS MRSO will send a list of MPRNs to each Supplier who has sent in an 010 for a COS which is still in progress just after go-live, and where the MPRN meets the criteria listed below. NB : For the identified MPRNs, each Supplier would need to check themselves if they need to send an 013 message to update the Display on Extranet flag or the medical equipment details once the COS completes. Criteria a 102 has issued but the 105 has not yet issued, therefore the COS has not yet completed and where COT_LE_Flag was marked as N on the 010 and there was life or non life support data recorded previously for the customer on the Central Market Systems and there was no life or non life support data sent in by the new supplier on the 010 message in the field MedicalEquipmentDetailsCode Note there are no special circumstances for any WIP Change of Customer Details MM013 5

7 ESB Networks Market Release : MCR0171 Report - Update ESBN propose to carry out a test with Suppliers for the sending/receipt of an containing a sample attachment. As previously advised the attachment is a.exe executable file It is proposed to carry out this test shortly Can Suppliers who will require this report and have not yet supplied a generic address do so by return, and send it to RMDS. And all communications between ESBN and Suppliers for this test will be via RMDS Also, please note that after go-live there is no requirement for Suppliers to send in a withdrawal for any item that appears in the report. 6
