1 KIS Kindergarten Integrated Platform Start-up Guide for epos Before you start using epos system, please read and follow the instructions as below: (A) epos Terminal Settings : Step 1: Set up epos Terminal Settings Step 2: Printer Basic Setting (B) Basic Settings : Step 1: Set up Module Administrator Step 2: Set up Terminal Settings Step 3: Set up Category and item Step 4: Set up Health Ingredient (C) Daily Use : Step 1: Manage Inventory Step 2: View Daily Transaction Step 3: View Reports and Statics (D) epos Terminal Daily Use : (A) epos Terminal Settings Step 1: Set up epos Terminal Settings 1. Enter eclass Host Address. 2. Enter the Station Name. 3. Enter School English Name. 4. Enter the reader COM Port No. 5. Input School Logo/ Background Image File name (Placed image in C:\eClass\POS\Images) 6. Select Language Interface. 7. Click "Save Setting". Step 2: Printer Basic Setting (Skip this step if no printer) 1. Select "Yes" after connect printer. 2. Enter the printer COM Port No. 3. Select number of receipts. 4. Click "Save Setting". Note: epos Terminal Program run in full screen. Please press "Ctrl+S" to enter settings page. P.1
2 (B) Basic Settings Step 1: Set up Module Administrator (By eclass administrator) 1. eclass Intranet School settings Role 2. Add Role identity Click (add Role) at the right hand side of the table. Enter the role name, after that click "Done". Click into the role name to add the member list & assign the module administration to the role member. P.2
3 3. Add Role Member List eclass Intranet School settings Role Name of Role Member List Click "New" to add the member to this Role. Select particular user, press ">" to "User(s) Selected" list. Click "Add" to add the selected member. Members have been added to the list successfully. P.3
4 4. Assign Module Administration to Role eclass Intranet School settings Role Name of Role Module Administration Check the module(s) to assign administration to the Role member. Click "Save" to apply. ***Settings will be effective after login again*** The related colleagues will become epos administrator to manage epos. P.4
5 Step 2: Set up Terminal Settings 1. Go to eclass Intranet epos Settings Terminal General Settings 2. Select "Allow POS client Program Connection" to make connection between terminal and epos system. 3. Select "Independent Category Linkage On Each Terminal" when terminal only sales particular categories (e.g. terminal only purchase Drinks & Snacks.) 4. Select "Payment Method". 5. Enter terminal s IP address. 6. Click "Save". 7. Click "Terminal Management" to synchronize categories & items' images to all terminals. 8. Click "+" add location for manage terminal stations. 9. Click numberings to assign terminals purchase particular categories. Note: point 3, 7-9 are selective settings. P.5
6 Step 3: Set up Category and item 1. Go to eclass Intranet epos Settings Category & Item 2. Add Category: Click "Add" Enter "Name" Enter "Code" Upload photo Click "Submit".* 3. Click the number to add items belongs to particular category. 4. Add Item: Click the number click "Add" Enter "Name" Enter "Barcode" Enter Unit Price Upload photo Click "Submit". * * During "Add" or "Edit" category / item settings, system request to disconnect between POS client program. Step 4: Set up Health Ingredient (Suitable for generate Health Reports) 1. Go to eclass Intranet epos Settings Health Ingredient 2. Click "Add" Enter "Name" Enter "Code" Enter "Unit Name" "Standard Intake" Click "Submit". P.6
7 (C) Daily Use Step 1: Manage Inventory 1. Go to eclass Intranet epos Management Inventory 2. According selected item Click "+" Enter number in "Increase By" Add "Remarks" (if necessary ) Click "Submit". 3. Print and view item inventory records Click "Magnifying glass" icon. P.7
8 Step 2: View Daily Transaction 1. Go to eclass Intranet epos Management Transaction 2. Select "Date Range" Click "Submit". Step 3: View Reports and Statics (epos Report) Item Content Target to be shown 1. POS Show transaction detail, invoice number, class, Whole school / Transaction students, grand total, transaction time by choosing Class/ Report date 2. POS Item Show item name, unit price, sold quantity and grand Whole school Report total 3. POS User Show Student's purchased item, quantity and grand Report total 4. POS Sales Report Transaction category, item and grand total 5. Personal View standard, average and exceed intake and listed Health Report by students 6. Class Health View standard, average and exceed intake and listed Report by classes * All reports can be print or export in CSV. 9 (D) epos Terminal Daily Use Step 1: Choose Category Choose Category \ Step 2: Select purchase item Select item belongs to the category Show selected item list. Remove all selected items P.9
10 Step 3: Manage in selected item list Add Item quantity Continue to select items Pay selected items Step 4: Process Transaction Show account's deposit after transaction. * Note:During using epos Terminal Program, please press "Ctrl+S" to enter settings page, "Ctrl+F" to minimized window or "Alt+F4" to close program.
