1 Web Portal Guide my.phone.coop The Phone Co-op has an online portal called my.phone.coop which is designed to help you keep an eye on your broadband usage and telephone calls with us. Not only can you see what you ve used since your last bill, you can create alerts to keep you up-to-date. Logging into my.phone.coop You can reach your web portal via typing my.phone.coop into the address bar of your web browser which should take you to the login page for billing webportal. You can also go directly to the web portal at Enter your new Phone Co-op account number and password that we have already sent you. Don t worry if you ve forgotten these details, just call our Customer Services team on and we will reset them for you. Using My.phone.coop The first page you will see is the Bill Summary and this shows all the details of your last bill from The Phone Co-opm, including details of any telephone services you have with us.
2 The monthly charge for your broadband service is itemised under Additional Services as Other Charges. Viewing what you ve used so far It s very easy to find out how much broadband data you ve used since your last bill. Just click on the heading called Billing and then Unbilled calls. You can filter the results to only show your broadband data usage which will make it much easier to read. To do this, make sure the following options are selected: Call Type: DSL Please be aware, we measure your broadband usage in Mb rather than Gb and so the total might look more than you were anticipating. In order to convert Mb to Gb, you will need to divide the total by In the above example, Mb divided by 1024 would become 18.41Gb
3 Viewing Your Total Usage Allowance If you want to know what broadband usage is included with your service, please click on Bundle Usage. Your total broadband usage allowance will be displayed in Gb.
4 Viewing Past Usage As well as letting you see your current broadband usage, you can look up how much of your broadband data you have used in the past months. It will only show your broadband usage with The Phone Co-op. Click on Reports from the top of the page and Graphical Reports. From here, you can see all your previous usage history with The Phone Co-op. In order to display your broadband usage, you need to choose the following options from the drop down menus: Call Type: DSL Plotted Value: Mb Billing Period: The month you want to query Usage will be displayed in Mb, so if you want to convert it to Gb, you will need to divide the total by 1024.
5 Usage Alerts One of the great features of my.phone.coop is the ability to set up reminder to let you keep an eye on your total usage. Please be aware that it can take up to a couple of days for our systems to process the information, so the reminders are for guidance only and your actual usage will have continued to increase once the has been sent. You will automatically receive an when you have used 80% of our usage allowance and once again when you have gone over the limit. This does not apply if you have moved to one of our unlimited packages. You can create additional reminders other than 80% and 100% to help you keep track of your broadband usage. Setting up Usage Alerts Click on Billing and then choose Usage Alert Rules You will then see all the usage alerts which have been set up on your account. Click on Add Rule to create a new reminder.
6 1. Setting up a reminder based on a how much of your inclusive allowance you ve used Once you have clicked Add New Rule, you will see the set up screen. You must select the following options from the drop down menu. Rule Type: You must select Bundle Click on OK to add the rule. 2. Setting up a reminder based on the total amount you used so far You can set up an alert based on the total amount of data that you have used. You must select the following options from the drop down menu to set up this type of reminder. Rule Type: This must be set to Data Data Type: This must be set to DSL Data Include Free Data: make sure this box is ticked. Your data usage allowance is then automatically included. This will give you the TOTAL amount of data used.
7 How to check if a reminder has been sent reminders are designed to help you stay in control and are provided as a guide to your usage. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your s as sometimes s can be delayed or caught in your quarantine or spam folder. You are still liable for any charges even if you did not receive any reminder s. You can check to see when a reminder was generated in the Usage Alerts Summary. Choose Billing from the top menu and then Usage Alerts Summary. The Usage Alerts Summary shows all the reminders that have been generated for your service. You can see which reminders were sent in a particular month by using the filter under the Bill Period heading. You can also filter the Alert Type. Broadband usage alerts will either be Bundle Usage or Data, depending on which type of reminder you have set up. Click on More Info if you want to see the details of when that particular reminder was generated.
