3 Login to LMS 1. To access the CCE- LMS, please follow the following URL: a) LMS (For PMBA & Modular programs): b) LMS (For all other programs): c) LMS (For PhD): Tip: Save the URL into bookmarks/ favourites of your browser. 2. Enter your username (i.e. SAP ID) and Password (default: pass123), then click Login button. Type your Username Type your Password Click here to LOGIN 2
4 3. Once you are in the Learning Management System (LMS), you will be taken to the homepage called DASHBOARD. Note : If you receive the following message at Login. Please check the URL that you are using to login. It should not be incomplete like - 3
5 Change Password 1. After login, to change your password click on My Account link located at the bottom menu bar. Click here to go to my account 2. Click on change password link on My Account screen. 4
6 3. Enter old and the new password in the corresponding fields and click the save button. 4. Click on the dashboard icon to go back to the home screen. 5. Your password is changed successfully. 5
7 Reset/ Forget Password 1. From the LMS login page navigate to the link Forget Password 2. Enter your login code and click proceed button 3. Default hint Question and Answer is 1. Enter your Hint answer and click proceed button. The same can be changed from My Account. 6
8 4. with the login details will be sent to the registered ID of the user. Dashboard Once you are in the Learning Management System (LMS), you will be taken to the homepage called DASHBOARD. 1. Dashboard is segregated into three main Dashlets as E-content, Assignment and Virtual Classroom. 7
9 2. By Default your current semester reflects in semester window and content can be accessed for the same. If you want to refer to any other semester, you can choose it from the semester drop-down. Note: Content can be accessed for current and previous semesters only (not for the future semesters). Updating User Profile 1. From the Dashboard click on My Account section to update your profile. 8
10 2. The registered program and batch details are read-only; you will not be able to make any changes. The section allows you to update the personal information. Once all the data is entered click on Save button. Tip: Review your details registered with the university and update whenever there is any change. 3. Click on the dashboard button to go back on dashboard. 9
11 E-Content Dashlet All the learning/ study material is available here in the form of E-books (flip book), downloadable PDF, and Notes etc. Click here to launch the content 1. The data shown will include all the Learning Modules that have been accessed and closed, along with a description of their status. You may now select the Learning Module of your choice by clicking on the blue arrow under the launch tab. 10
12 2. Once it is launched a new window will appear, where you can read the textbook. Download E-books (E-book to read online) 1. From the Dashboard under the E-content dashlet, choose the semester from the semester window and then the subject from the drop down list. Click on the E-course launch button. Choose & click on the E-course of the subject 11
13 2. From the available list of topic names navigate to the topic starting with keyword Download and launch it. Navigate to the topic name starting with keyword Download. Click on the launch button (the blue arrow) to download the E-book 3. A new window appears with the pdf version of the book, that can be saved at local machine of the user. 12
14 Assignments Dashlet 1. All the available assignments to do are listed here. From the dashboard in the assignment section choose the semester then the subject and list of assignments will be shown. Launch the assignment using the blue arrow against it. For every subject in the semester there are 2 assignments allocated to the students. The first assignment mostly covers topics from the first 10 units of the study material. Similarly the second assignment mostly covers the topics from the next 10 units of the study material. Also please be informed that the term end examination for each subject covers all 25 units of the study material. 13

On this screen you can check the following details of the assignment - a) Start and End Date The time span which is given to a user to submit the same. b) Number of Attempts The number of attempts made out of the maximum number of allowed attempts. c) Status The current status of the assignment as a. Started User has started his attempt but not submitted b. Not Started User has not started to attempt the assignment c. Completed - User has submitted and passed the assignment d. Not completed - User has submitted but failed the assignment; in this case more are attempts required. Start and End Date Status can be checked here Number of attempts made out of total available 14
16 3. To attempt the assignment click on View/ Submit Assignment button. 4. Details can be cross-checked here and click the launch buton to open the assignment. Date and Time is mentioned here Status can be checked here 15
17 5. On this screen total no. of questions, total marks etc can also be checked and Click the start button to move on to the next screen Total no. of questions Total Marks 6. On this screen by default the user is able to see the question no 1, beyond this user can opt to attempt any question of his choice directly from the given list by clicking on the question no. from the displayed grid. a) Check box allows the user to mark the question for later review. b) Next & Previous button will allow user to move to and fro among the questions. c) Save and Close button will redirect user to close the assignment in between, whereas the answers will be saved and can be resumed later. 16
18 7. In the below screen, different status for questions in the assignment are shown. If you wish to discontinue the submission in between click save and close button and exit. The assignment can be resumed later from the place where you left, it will save all your marked responses. 8. For final submission click submit button given at the last question s screen. No changes can be done once submit button is clicked. NOTE: Even if the SUBMIT button is clicked by mistake then also submission will be considered and can t be restarted. 17
19 9. After the submission of the assignment, the summary screen is shown and status can be checked under the status tab on the following screen as: a. Completed - User has submitted and passed the assignment b. Not completed - User has submitted but failed the assignment; in this case more attempts are required. Virtual Content Dashlet 1. From the dashboard under the virtual content dashlet- provided are the video recordings of the lectures which give detailed explanation of various topics in the study material. Select the Semester and Subject from the drop down list to access the videos for that subject. 18
20 2. List of all the videos will be displayed and click on the blue arrow ( ) to launch the video. 3. Clicking on the link will download a file with extension (.asx), which can be played using Windows Media Player only. 19
21 NOTE: Make sure the internet connection is available while playing the video. 4. For online PCP, the video recording of the webinar sessions are available. 20
22 Announcements 1. The Announcements tab contains all important notifications/ information. From the dashboard, click on the announcement icon from the right menu. 2. On the next screen, list of all the announcements is displayed. Click on the announcement title to read further. 21
23 3. The annoucement details are displayed here and once you finish reading click on the dashboard icon to go back to dashboard. Message Board 1. Any notification/information to a precise group of students is sent through message board. As soon as a message is sent, a copy of the same is ed to the registered address of the user and a copy is stored at at LMS. Click on the message icon to open the message board. 22
24 2. List of all the messages is displayed here and click on the message topic to open it for reading. Various other functions can also be performed here as select all, delete, mark as read and mark as unread etc. 3. The message is displayed on the right window. Highlighted with blue colour is the attachment along with the message. It is little different from announcements as it provides user a facility to send a reply on message and a copy of the same is ed too. Click on the reply button to send a reply. Note: Students can t intiate a new message, they can only reply. 23
25 4. Type your reply in the message body and user can opt to send the reply message as or not by choosing the radio button and send. 5. Sent items can be filtered using the drop down as per the requirement. 6. Close the window and click on the dashboard to go back. 24
