4 P O P R I N T X F PURPOSE: This program is the fax version of the standard plain paper transfer purchase order format POPRINT1X, which prints purchase order transfers in a picking ticket format. provides the ability to fax purchase orders to a specific vendor. The program will also print a log of all transactions. The documents may be faxed by the 'immediate send' method or the 'batch send' method. When utilizing the 'immediate send' method, this program will be called automatically (there will be no need to execute the program manually). There will be a slight delay at the terminal while the document is being set up for transmission. When utilizing the 'batch send' method, this program must be executed manually through the menus, SD-RUN, or through an end of day shell. The program will attempt to send any document that has a fax status set to 'Y'. The fax status flag will be set to 'F' after the document is sent to indicate that it has been faxed. Options are available to 'batch send' documents immediately or at a delayed time. If selected, the delayed time will be retrieved from the vendor notebook file (if available) otherwise the default delayed time can be entered during the execution of this program. When an invalid fax phone number is found, no fax number or no person to contact is found, a message will be displayed and written to a print log and the document will not be faxed. A report will print showing documents transmitted and fax identification. To print costs on transfer purchase orders, the 'Print Cost on Transfers in Picking Ticket Format?' option in OECTRLMTN on the Inventory/Purchase Order screen must be set to 'Y'. To print dash lines between the lines on transfer purchase orders, the 'Print Dash Lines Between Items on P.O. Transfer Pick Tickets?' option in OECTRLMTN on the Print Options screen must be set to 'Y'. Activant, Inc. 4

Enter 'D' to delay the send of faxes to a desired time. TIME If the entry for the TYPE option is "D": Enter 'HHMM' the default time to send the faxes.
