2 Reprint Corrections Click for Online Help. Online Help At any time during the use of ProofCheck InSite, you may access online help by clicking on the question mark found in the upper-right corner. Logging on to ProofCheck InSite To log on to ProofCheck InSite, you must have a high-speed Internet connection (64 kbps or higher). Creo recommends that Mac users access InSite via Apple Safari and Windows users access InSite via Internet Explorer. 1. Go to 2. Type your Username and Password and click Login. NOTE Passwords are strong (alphanumeric) and case-sensative. 3. Click the System Diagnostics icon to ensure your system meets ProofCheck InSite's software and configuration requirements. 3 Click to Logout. Logging off ProofCheck InSite To log off ProofCheck InSite, click on the X found in the upper-right corner. Sending correction files for reprints In the event your previously printed job isn't online, you must create a new temporary job for upload, auto-refinement and review/approval. 1. Click on the New Job button. 2. Choose the location for the reprint correction job. Customer Quick Start Guide - Reprint Corrections 3

4 Naming convention guidelines When creating reprint correction jobs within ProofCheck InSite, you must follow the naming conventions as outlined below. Please refer to the diagram for details. 1. Job Name is always the Courier title ID followed by an underscore and RPT_CRX. RPT represents reprint and CRX represents corrections. In the event that the requested job is a cover, a C must immediately follow the title ID number. Text Example: _RPT_CRX Cover Example: C_RPT_CRX 2. Job Code is always the ISBN number followed by an underscore and ISBN. Example: _ISBN 3. Project Code can either be short title of book, author or a combination of the two. In the example below, the title of the book and printing is indicated. Example: English 101-2nd Printing After the three requested fields are complete, click Create Job. Please note that an automated is sent to the Courier CSR when a job has been created within ProofCheck InSite. There is no need to generate a manual, follow-up . 4 Customer Quick Start Guide - Reprint Corrections

5 Ready to upload After successfully creating the reprint corrections job, files can now be uploaded. When files are uploaded to the ProofCheck InSite server they are copied to a folder within the newly created job on Courier's Prinergy server. The user will need Upload user rights to be able to upload files. When creating reprint correction jobs within ProofCheck InSite, the user must follow the naming conventions as outlined below. Please refer to the diagram for details. 1. Click New Upload found on the Job Home of the newly created job. Customer Quick Start Guide - Reprint Corrections 5

6 2. Enter a name that briefly describes the files being uploaded. 4. Click the Upload Files tab. 3. Enter a name that briefly describes the files being uploaded. 6 Customer Quick Start Guide - Reprint Corrections

7 6. Select files for upload and click Add. 5. Navigate to files for upload. 7. Click Upload. 8. Upon successful upload, the completion dialog box will be displayed. Click Close. Customer Quick Start Guide - Reprint Corrections 7

8 Upload Details The Upload Details dialog box will inform the user of all files uploaded and processing status. If the job was created with an Auto Refine Job Template for automatic processing, details will be contained within this dialog box. Those interested in Auto Refine (automated file processing) should contact their Courier Customer Service Representative (CSR). Courier will evaluate the type of work and advise if Auto Refine Job Templates fit the requested files. 9. Review and click Close. Approval Process The approval process is done exactly like the initial printing proof approval process.
