5 Favourites 1 Overview The purpose of Favourites is to make it really fast and easy to quote or invoice and find materials on the mobile app. After you have used them a few times, you will be comfortable with them and you will notice how quickly you can price a job. To access the favourites editor, click on settings from the top menu and then click on favourites on the left hand side. 2 Editing Favourites If you have had the default favourites imported, this is the first view you will see. 5 Fergus Favourites Guide

6 If not you can click Add Folder to start creating them. If you click on a folder with a blue icon the items in the folder appear on the right hand side. A folder can contain either a favourites section or another folder. A section is marked with the red icon, a folder with the blue icon. If you click on a section you will get this view: 6 Fergus Favourites Guide

7 In this view you can now add materials, labour and descriptions and adjust the quantities. Start typing in the search box to find materials or to add items. You can add an item from the pricebook or just add a custom item which will be added to your custom price book. After you have created or adjusted your favourites, these lists of materials and labour are now available when quoting or invoicing and also on the mobile app as a shortcut to adding materials to a job. 7 Fergus Favourites Guide

8 3 Quoting / Invoicing with Favourites You can now add in materials and labour into the box that says add a line item or you can access favourites by clicking the favourites button. If you click on the favourites button, this popup will open up above. As I am pricing up a new bathroom, I have chosen, Housing => Renovations => Full Bathroom. 8 Fergus Favourites Guide

9 If you would like to add all the materials in this section you can click the green all button on the top right. 9 Fergus Favourites Guide

10 When you press the all button, these options are available: Add as section This will create a new subsection on the quote or invoice called Full Bathroom on the quote or invoice with all the line items Add as line items This will add all the line items to the current section on the quote or invoice. Add as combined item This will create one combined line item with a combined total of all the line items in the favourites section. Your customers will only see one line, but you will be able to cost as if they are individual line items For this example we can click Add as line items. After you have clicked Add as line items you will see them added to your section below. We keep the favourites window open to allow to continue to add items if you choose, if not click Close to close the favourites window. 10 Fergus Favourites Guide

12 4 Adding in Individual Materials from Favourites. You may want to simply add certain line items from a section without adding the whole lot. Here s how it s done. I now have a new section called brass fittings. Once again press favourites and choose Water Materials => Brass => 15mm Now I have the items available, I have a few options. 1. I can add individual line items by pressing the + button on the right. 2. I can alter the quantity of the line item and then press the + button 12 Fergus Favourites Guide

13 3. I can alter the quantity at the top under All Items to adjust the number quantity for the whole section. I have altered the quantities in the list and I will now add these to the quote by pressing the + button. 13 Fergus Favourites Guide
