During this exercise, you will manage the data in the GPS receiver.

You will delete a single route and then delete all routes.

Part 1: Delete a single track. 1. Press the <MENU> key twice for the Main Menu 2.

1 During this exercise, you will manage the data in the GPS receiver. You will delete a single track and then delete all tracks. You will delete a single route and then delete all routes. Lastly, you will delete a single waypoint and then delete all waypoints. Part 1: Delete a single track. 1. Press the <MENU> key twice for the Main Menu 2. Highlight Tracks and press the <ENTER> key again to bring up the Tracks list. 3. Highlight the track you want to delete and press the <ENTER> key. 4. Highlight the Delete button and press the <ENTER> key. 5. Highlight the Yes button and press the <ENTER> key. page 1

2 6. You are returned to the Tracks list. 7. NOTE: You cannot recover deleted tracks. 8. Alternately from the Tracks list, you can press the <MENU> key to see the management options for that list. 9. Highlight Delete Saved Track and press the <ENTER> key. 10. Highlight the Yes button and press the <ENTER> key to confirm your choice to delete the track. 11. You will return to the Tracks list and see that the track you selected is gone. 12. NOTE: You cannot recover deleted tracks. page 2

3 Part 2: Delete all tracks. 1. From the Tracks list as selected above, press the <MENU> key to see the management options for the list. Highlight Delete All Saved and press the <ENTER> key. 2. Highlight the Yes button and press the <ENTER> key to confirm your choice to delete all of the tracks. 3. You will return to the Tracks list and see that all saved tracks are gone. 4. NOTE: You cannot recover deleted tracks. page 3

4 Part 3: Delete a single route. 1. Press the <MENU> key twice for the Main Menu. 2. Highlight Routes and press the <ENTER> key again to bring up the Routes list. 3. Highlight the route you want to delete and press the <MENU> key and highlight Delete Route. 4. Press the <ENTER> key and confirm the delete by ensuring that the Yes button is highlighted and pressing the <ENTER> key which takes you back to the Routes list. 5. NOTE: You cannot recover a deleted route. page 4

8 5. The second way is to highlight the waypoint you want to delete in the waypoint list and press the <ENTER> key. This takes you to the waypoint editing screen. Highlight the Delete button and press the <ENTER> key. Ensure that the Yes button is highlighted and press <ENTER> again to confirm the deletion and you will return to the waypoint listing. 6. NOTE: You cannot recover a deleted point. page 8

As you return to the waypoint listing and see that all the waypoints are gone you will see the message NONE FOUND appears in a box at the bottom of the display and may

9 Part 6: Delete all waypoints. 1. As you previously did in Part 5 above, bring up the list of waypoints on your receiver. 2. Press the <MENU> key. Highlight Delete All and press the <ENTER> key. Highlight the Yes button and press the <ENTER> key to confirm your choice to delete all waypoints. 3. As you return to the waypoint listing and see that all the waypoints are gone you will see the message NONE FOUND appears in a box at the bottom of the display and may hear a beep. This message will occur any time you enter the waypoint listing and there are no stored waypoints. To erase the message press the <ENTER> key. 4. NOTE: You cannot recover deleted points. page 9
