2 P a g e 2 How do I change the brightness and sound level on my display? Once there, click the Main button and go to the Display icon. and the buttons to change the brightness and sound level will appear on the left hand side of the screen. To adjust, use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the brightness. You can set a daytime brightness along with a nighttime brightness by switching between the two using the button next to the sun and moon icons. NOTE: The display has a Sync with Cab function that can be turned on or off and will adjust the balance of the display s backlight relative to the cab s backlight when enabled. To adjust the volume, use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the level.

3 P a g e 3 How do I change the date and time on my display? and go to the Display icon. Once there, click the Settings button and then select the Time/Date tab at the top of the screen. From there you can change the time and date by selecting the boxes that need to be changed. If the boxes are greyed out unselect the GPS Time Sync button at the bottom of the screen. NOTE: It is important to have the correct date and time on the display so your documentation material will come out properly.

4 P a g e 4 Where do I find how full my memory is and how do I clear it? Press the main menu button Once there, click the GS3 button and then select the Memory tab at the top of the screen. From there you can see the Memory Used status bar and select to Erase Data. There are two options when erasing data, Documentation Data or All Data. Selecting Documentation Data will leave the Setup information, Maps and Totals in memory while All Data will delete everything on the display minus the activations. NOTE: Do not select the All Data option if you have not backed up your setup information, as you will not be able to recover it once deleted off the display.

5 P a g e 5 How do I perform a TCM calibration on my receiver? Press the main menu button Once there, select the Setup tab and go to the receiver icon. at the top of the screen. Under the setup tab press the Cal button under the 3D TCM section of the page. Follow the on screen prompts to complete the TCM calibration.

6 P a g e 6 How do I clear old AutoTrac lines? Once there, click the Guidance button. down box under Current Curve, On the Guidance View page there is a drop press the drop down box and select new to create a new name. Once the new name is accepted the previous AutoTrac lines will disappear. The name will need to be changed to something new every time you want the AutoTrac lines to be removed.

7 P a g e 7 How do I clear coverage maps? Once there, click the Mapping button. Settings button On the Mapping Maps page there is a Map at the bottom of the screen. Pressing the Map Settings button will take you to a screen where you will have two options to Clear Field Map Coverage, This Field Only, or All Farms and Fields. This Field Only: clears the coverage for the field you are currently in. All Farms and Fields: clears coverage for all your fields.

8 P a g e 8 How do I clear field boundaries? Once there, click the Mapping button and go to the Boundaries tab located at the top of the screen. With the machine stopped and in park, select the record button and shortly after (2 or 3 seconds) select the stop recording button. NOTE: This will clear the boundary for the field you are currently in and not all your fields. This process will have to be completed in each individual field to remove the boundaries from them.

9 P a g e 9 How do I change the map to show my rates or yield information? Once there, click the Mapping button. On the Mapping Maps page select the Map Settings button down box next to Foreground at the bottom of the screen. Under Map Settings there is a drop where you can choose what parameter you want to look at (i.e. rate or yield). Accepting one will bring up the color index and paint the screen so you can see the different rates or yields as you operate. NOTE: To toggle between rates/yield information and coverage map use the icon that looks like this at the bottom of the Mapping Maps page.

10 P a g e 10 Why won t my display record when I am performing my task? Once there, click the Diagnostics button to View and put Recording in the drop down box next at the top of the screen. From here you need to see if there are any No s next to the items listed on the page. If there is a No next to field or task defined go back and change the information under Resources. If there is a No by any of the tasks listed under Operation(s) Properly Defined:, go to Document and make sure all the information is filled out or that you do not have an extra tab open at the top of the page. NOTE: Most times an operator will have an extra tab open under the Document page. With the extra tab open the display will not record. For most operations there should only be two tabs at the top, the task you are currently doing and New.

11 P a g e 11 How do I get my display to record when I start my task? Once there, click the Guidance button and go to the Guidance Settings tab at the top of the page. Click the Change button next to Curve Tract Settings. Under curve track settings there will be a drop down box next to Curve Track Recording where you need to change the finger to Documentation. NOTE: This Curve Track Recording box will only show up while adaptive curves is selected as your tracking mode. From this drop down box you can also choose AutoTrac which will record only while AutoTrac is engaged.

12 P a g e 12 Why is my steer on/off button (AutoTrac pie) missing? Once there, click the Diagnostics button next to view and put AutoTrac in the drop down box at the top of the screen. From here you need to see if there are any No s next to the items listed on the page. If there is a No you need to go back and change that setting or diagnose why there is a No. Another important item to look at on this page is Time of Last Exit Code: if there is an exit code AutoTrac will not work. NOTE: If an exit code is present it might be beneficial to call your dealer to help diagnose the issue.

13 P a g e 13 Why is my track spacing not right? Once there, click the Equipment button and select the Implement 1 tab at the top of the screen. At the bottom of the Implement 1 tab there is a Widths section, click the Change Widths button and verify that the Track Spacing and Implement Widths you have entered are correct for the implement you have attached.

14 P a g e 14 How do I set a guidance line? Once there, click the Guidance button and go to the Guidance Settings tab at the top of the page. Change the Tracking Mode drop down box to the guidance line you want (i.e. Straight Track, Adaptive Curve, etc). Go back to the guidance view page by selecting the View tab at the top of the screen. Depending on what guidance type you chose there will be an icon in the bottom left corner of the page to begin making the guidance line. For straight track it will say Set Track 0 and for adaptive curves it will have a recording button so you can record your first pass. NOTE: It is smart to set up one of your home pages with the Resources and Guidance side tab (picture below) so you can easily switch between tracking modes.

15 P a g e 15 How do I change the amount of overlap when using section control? Once there, click the Section button and go to the Overlap Settings icon. Under overlap settings you can change the drop down box under Coverage to % Overlap. Percent Overlap allows settings from 0-125%. To achieve increasing amounts of overlap use the % range. Each percentage point above 100% accounts for one additional foot of overlap on the ground. For additional information on overlap settings press the on the screen. NOTE: Turn ON/OFF times are not to be used for correcting skips or overlaps in the field. They are used to compensate for average physical machine reaction time.
