4 1 General Queries: 1.1 Queries related to imaap RADMS Tablet Application Usage: 1. How to enter accident record in RADMS through tablet? Ans.: Following steps are to be done to enter the accident record through tablet device:- a. Switch on the tablet and click on imaap RADMS tablet application. b. Tap on the main menu icon, and select Add Accident Record. c. Fill the key accident related information such as Police Station, Accident Severity, Number of Vehicles Involved, Number of Casualties involved. Information like Accident Date, and Accident Time are auto-populated. d. Capture the accident location using GPS Online option - Tap on the GPS icon. Offline option 1. Tap on the offline map icon. 2. Tap on the location to be added. 3. Select Use, it will automatically capture the location coordinates. e. Tap to save the details entered. f. Tap on Vehicle Details to add information about the vehicles involved in the accident. g. Tap on to add a new vehicle detail. Tap on to save the page. h. Similar to Vehicle Details, fill all the details related to Casualty Details. Save it. i. Finally, tap on Attachments and attach images or videos of accident spot. j. Tap on after entering all the necessary details. This will save the accident record in local tablet database. 2. How many accident records can be saved in the tablet application? Ans.: A maximum 10 accident records can be stored in the local tablet database. 3. How to add attachments to an accident record? Ans.: Perform the basic steps to add the accident record in the imaap RADMS tablet application (Please refer FAQ Question No. 1. for the detailed steps). Now perform the following steps: a. Tap on the Attachments icon to add attachments. b. Tap on the + button. c. Choose Camera to take a Photo of the accident site. d. Choose Gallery to choose the photo from the tablet. e. Maximum of 5 Images can be added for a record. 4 FAQ
5 f. Save the accident record. 4. How to set district and police station in settings menu of imaap tablet application? Ans.: Perform the following steps:- a. Go to imaap RADMS tablet application and click on main menu icon. b. Select Settings from the menu. c. Choose the district and police station needed, click on Ok. d. The user will find a save icon, clicking on that will save the changes that the user made in the district and police station settings. 5. How to delete accident records from tablet? Ans.: Perform the following steps:- a. Go to imaap RADMS tablet application and click on main menu icon. b. Choose Accident records. c. Input the details of the accident record that need to be deleted and tap Search. System will display all accident records available in local tablet database matching the search criteria. d. Select the accident record to be deleted. e. Tap on delete button, a message will flash confirming the delete operation. f. Tap Ok. Record will be deleted. 6. How to do location setting in imaap RADMS tablet application? Ans.: Perform the following operations:- a. Open to imaap RADMS tablet application and click on main menu icon. b. Select Settings. c. Click on GPS. It will capture the tablet devices current location. d. After that, click on save button on the right side of the tablet screen. This will save your location. 7. Why do we need to login to the imaap tablet application? Ans.: Login is required for Online Search and Online Data Synchronization. Please enter your user name and your password to login to the application. 8. How to sync accident records online from tablet? Ans.: Perform the following steps to sync accident records online from the tablet: a. Go to imaap RADMS tablet application and click on the main menu icon. b. Select Sync from mobile. This will display the accident records. c. Select the records to be uploaded and click on Online Sync icon on top right side of the screen. 5 FAQ
6 d. It will ask a confirmation for synchronising accident record. Click Ok. e. Another message will flash on the screen indicating successful synchronisation of record. Click Ok. After syncing, the record will no longer be available in the application. 9. Will the GPS functionality work without internet? Ans.: Yes, GPS works without internet. Global Positioning System or GPS, gives your accurate position anywhere on earth in terms of latitude and longitude. The only requirement is the need for a GPS receiver that will receive signals from satellites. The tablets and smartphones are equipped with GPS receivers and it works without internet connectivity. 10. How to restore the RADMS application if one resets the tablet to the factory settings? Ans.: The RADMS application needs to be installed in their tablet again. Please contact the TRL / Experion Customer Support team to reinstall the application. 11. How to turn on GPS and GPS fix? Ans.: Perform the following steps: a. Click on GPS Fix icon on your tablet and then click on Start Fixing, it will switch on GPS fix. b. To turn the GPS on, swipe your screen from the top (towards bottom) and click on GPS icon (second from left). It will display GPS in green colour and the GPS icon will be blinking continuously. 12. My tablet user account is in deactivated state or I can t access my account. What should I do? Ans.: Inform the TRL/Experion Customer Support Team at ADMC Cell either through a call or send an to imaaphp.support@experionglobal.com requesting to activate the account. The TRL/Experion Support will activate the user account and shall intimate the user once done. The user can verify the access by entering the user name and password, to login to the application. 13. How to find location through tablet? Ans.: Open the tablet and swipe down from the top and check if the GPS is ON. If not, click on GPS icon to turn on the GPS. Now perform the following steps:- a. Go to imaap RADMS application and open the accident record. b. Tap on the GPS option to capture the location using the GPS system. c. Tap on the offline map icon if the GPS is not available. d. Tapping on a location on map and clicking Use will automatically populate the location co-ordinates. 6 FAQ
7 If the user is still not able to find location, go back to home page of the tablet and find the icon GPS fix and click on GPS Fix. Then return to the application and click on GPS icon again. Now the latitude and longitude of the place can be seen in the application. The location can thus be captured. 14. How to sync accident records offline from the tablet? Ans.: Steps to sync accident records offline from the tablet: Step 1: Choose the accident records to be synced and Export the accident records using imaap RADMS Tablet device: a. Go to imaap RADMS mobile application and click on main menu. b. Tap the Sync from Mobile from menu. c. All accident records available in the local table database will be listed in this screen. d. Select the records to be send back to central database by checking the checkbox placed on the corresponding item. e. Click icon available in the top of the screen. f. System will create a new zip file called exportdata.zip with the selected accident records and will store the file in RADMS folder in the Tablet device. Step 2: Connect the Tablet Device with computer and choose the exported file to initiate the sync process: a. Connect the tablet device with computer using USB Cable. b. Open the file explorer, go to RADMS folder in the tablet storage and confirm the export data.zip file is present. c. Login to the imaap web application from the computer. d. Navigate to Tablet Sync. e. Click the Sync Now button. f. System will open a Browse window. Choose the exportdata.zip from the RADMS folder in the tablet device storage and click Open. Step 3: Download the Sync Results file and copy it to the RADMS folder in the tablet device storage: a. System will process the zip file and will show the following options after the sync completed successfully. Refresh Application: To refresh the application with new accident data. Update Sync Results: To generate the sync result file with sync status of each accident record. Start Next Sync: Reset the screen for new sync operation. b. Click Update Sync Results and save the status file in computer. c. Copy the file and paste it inside the RADMS folder in Tablet Device storage. d. System will prompt for a confirmation. Please click Yes. Sync Result file will be copied to the RADMS folder. 7 FAQ
8 Step 4: Perform the Update Now operation from imaap RADMS Tablet Device to complete the USB Sync process a. Disconnect the tablet device storage from the laptop / computer. b. Open the imaap RADMS Tablet application. c. Open the Dashboard page in imaap RADMS Tablet application. d. Click the Update Now Button. System will complete the offline sync process and remove the accident records from device database. 8 FAQ
9 1.2 Queries related to imaap RADMS Web Application Usage: 1. How can a user login to imaap RADMS web application? Ans.: Please follow these steps: a. Please ensure Silverlight is installed in the system. If not, install this first. Refer to the User Manual for detailed instructions on how to install Silverlight. b. Once Silverlight is installed, enter the URL of the application in the Internet Explorer web browser. c. The login screen of imaap RADMS web application will be displayed to the user. d. Enter the Username and Password in the space provided in the login screen and click Login. 2. How to save accident record in RADMS web application? Ans.: Perform the following steps:- a. Login to the imaap RADMS web application. b. Search for the accident record that needs to be edited, by using the Search option on the top left corner of the application. c. Select the required accident from the search results. d. Summary of Accident chosen will be displayed on the screen. e. Click on View Full Accident Details on the top right corner of the screen, f. Choose Edit. g. Update the information and click Save button on the top right-hand side. 3. How to edit health department related fields in the accident form? Ans.: Please follow these steps: a. Login to the imaap RADMS application. b. On top left corner (just below the menu buttons, user can see a searching panel with a set of parameters), select the name of Police Station, the FIR number and date of accident. Click on the Search button. c. The respective accident record will be populated below the search panel on the left side of the screen. d. Choose Edit button provided in the menu bar. This will allow the user to edit the accident record fields of the selected accident record. e. Go to Injury tab in the accident form. Here one can fill the details of the injured person. f. The fields for the health department will be grouped and shown under the label Health Department. Update any of these health fields. g. Once the details are entered, click on the Save button provided on the top right corner. 4. How to find accidents reported in Solan district using query? Ans.: Please follow these steps: 9 FAQ
10 a. Go to Query Builder. b. Select appropriate accident date range (Accidents from 1 st August 2015 are available in the application) and click on Add to list. c. Select the district (= Solan) and again click on Add to list. d. Then run the query by choosing Run. All accidents in the selected period recorded against Solan district will be displayed. 5. What are the various reports that can be generated through the system? Ans.: The various reports available are: a. Standard Reports b. User Defined Reports c. Summary Print d. Cross Tab 6. How to find accidents reported in Mandi district and take a summary print of these accidents? Ans.: Please follow the steps below: Go to Query Builder. Select appropriate accident date range (Accidents from 1 st August 2015 are available in the application) and click on Add to list. Select the district (= Mandi) and again click on Add to list. Then run the query by clicking the button Run. Take Summary Print: Go to the menu Reports and click on Summary Print option. Select the fields needed from the left side of the screen. Click on Generate Report. The file can be exported to PDF or Excel sheets. 7. How to run a query and generate a report? Ans.: Go to Query builder, select the details needed and click on add to list. Then click on Run. Go to report and choose the kind of report needed, enter the parameters and click on Generate report. You can also export the generated files in PDF and Excel format. 8. When can I use summary print option? Ans.: Summary print is useful to get a limited set of attributes of a given set of accidents. The dataset for the summary print functionality is limited to less than 100 records. In summary print screen, the user can choose the fields needed to be displayed for each record. Then click on Generate report. The generated report can be exported to PDF or Excel format. 9. I am not able to login to the imaap web application and it is always throwing invalid user name or password, even though I am trying with my account user name and password. What can be reason behind this issue? 10 FAQ
11 Ans.: The password field is case sensitive and you need to ensure that the password entered is in the right case. Check if the caps lock is on (Turn off the caps lock if it is on) in your keyboard, and enter the user name and password to login in application. If it is still not working, please inform the TRL/Experion Customer Support Team at ADMC Cell either through a call or send an to imaaphp.support@experionglobal.com requesting to activate the account. 10. How to build a query of fatal accidents in 2015 in Bilaspur? Ans.: Please follow these steps: a. Login to web application. b. Click on Query menu and select Query builder. c. Click on Accident and select field District, and select operator = and click on Bilaspur. d. Add by clicking Add to list button on screen. e. Similarly select date range. (Select the dates as, between and inclusive of and to get the data in the year 2015). f. Select Injury and Severity of injured person from Form, select operator = and select Fatal from Value. g. After that click on Add to list button. h. Run the query by using Run button. This will show all fatal accidents in the district Bilaspur. 11 FAQ
