4 What is Flexible Storage? Flexible Storage is a service offer accessible via the Internet or VPN Orange Business Services that allows: the storage, synchronization and sharing of documents between employees backup and restoration online data The service is accessible from: A Web user portal accessible online The Flexible Storage agent is a prerequisite for your using your solution on your computer, and can be downloaded from the client support area the mobile application Flexible Storage for tablets and Smartphones, downloadable from Apple Store and the Google Play Store
5 Sign in to the administrator portal (1/3) Once you have created your account, you will receive an automatic containing the following: a hyperlink to the Flexible Storage portal your username and password Stage 1: Copy and paste the URL of the portal into a web browser. Stage 2: Enter the username and password (supplied in the sent when you created your account) in the corresponding fields, then click on "sign in". In some cases, the administrator portal opens up directly to an administration panel.
6 Sign in to the administrator portal (2/3) After signing in to the portal, click on the round icon representing an avatar [1] then on the "Administration" icon [2] to access the administration space[3]
7 Dashboard (1/4) The dashboard provides a summary of the usage of the solution in respect of storage space, any changes in the number of users and the services assigned to the users. The data are refreshed in real time.
8 Dashboard (2/4) Cloud storage [1] Limit: maximum storage space In use: storage space used User [2] Total number of users for which services can be allocated, thus: new users created over the last 30 days new users created today 1 2

11 Device Management The "Device" heading shows all user devices, whether connected or not. The administrator may, in particular: view all the devices by type, connection status, last backup date, version of the agent installed, etc. delete a device, this will force disconnection of the agent installed on the workstation or server and will free up a license [1]. download the agent by clicking on the "Download the agent" button[2]. 1 2
12 Device Management Further information is also available by clicking on a given device. Status [1] Allows you to obtain information such as the type of device used (Mac, PC), the MAC address or the version of the agent used. Backup[2] Clicking on "backup" launches the backup of the device. This part is displayed if the device has been connected with an account that has a backup license. Cloud Drive [3] Clicking on "Cloud Drive" launches the synchronization of the device. This icon is displayed if the device has been connected with an account having a Cloud Drive license
13 Overview of users This screen displays the main information relating to all users who have an account on your Flexible Storage portal. For example: storage space used by the users rights: administrator or user the plan on which the user is positioned
14 Define a plan Overview of the plans Default plan Create a new plan
15 Overview of the plans A plan is used to define rights in terms of services and storage space quota that will be assigned to the user. To obtain a general overview of all the plans, click on "Provisioning" then on "Plans".
16 Default plan A default plan is created, it includes all the services subscribed when the order was placed: synchronization & sharing service (Cloud Drive) and/or workstation and/or server backup Service The default plan includes the values corresponding to: the retention option subscribed by the client the limit storage space quota defined in the purchase order access to the Cloud Drive service the licenses that correspond to the workstation, server and appliance backup services. This default plan may be changed by the administrator. Any change made to the plan will impact the services associated with the users that have this plan configured. The administrator may also create customised plans with specific rights in terms of service or storage space, in order to allocate them to portal users.
17 Create a new plan (1/4) To create a new plan, click on "New plan" [1] A window opens up that allows you to determine the different "Services" [2]. Cloud Backup Service: Allows the user to backup a peripheral in the Cloud. Seeding supported: Allows the user to import data via an external hard drive. Remote access: The configuration settings of the Flexible Storage agent can be remotely consulted by connecting directly to the device agent. Cloud Drive: The user is authorised to use the Cloud Drive service (sharing and synchronization). 2 1 Click on "Next" [3] to continue with the creation of the plan. 3
18 Create a new plan (2/4) In "Snapshot Retention Policy", you can specify how long [1] the snapshots of the data are retained on your Cloud Drive. You can define the storage time for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual snapshots. 1 You can, if need be, reduce the retention values for the files that will be stored/backed up. These values cannot exceed the limit defined in the purchase order (shortterm, medium-term or long-term retention). Click on Next [2] to continue. 15 2
19 Create a new plan (3/4) Name the plan being created [1]. The plan is then always displayed with this name in the selection list when assigning to different users. Click on "Next" [2] to proceed to the next stage. 1 2
20 Create a new plan (4/4) The last stage for creating the plan consists in defining the storage space, number and type of license "Quotas" [1]. Storage (GB): storage capacity in GB. Server agent license: number of server backup licenses. Workstation backup licenses: number of workstation backup licenses. Cloud Gateway licences: number of licenses for the appliances (allows a NAS gateway to be connected to the portal). Click on "Finish" [2] to complete the creation of the plan. 1 2

22 Create a user To create a new user, click on "Users" [1] then on "New"[2]. 2 1
23 Create a user Enter the user data in the screen that is displayed[1]. From this screen you can: select the user's role, define an expiry date for their temporary access, require users to change their passwords. Then select "Provisioning" [2] to assign a plan to the user. 2 1
24 Assign a plan In the "Provisioning" menu [1], click on the selection field next to the "Subscription plan" [2] to select the plan to be assigned[3]. Confirm by clicking on "ok" [4]. By clicking on the selection field next to "Subscription Expiration" [5], you can set the length of validity of a plan. Complete the choice of plan by clicking on "save" [6]
25 Edit a user To edit a user, click on "Edit" [2] in "users" [1]. Once any changes have been made, click on "save" [3] to confirm the changes
26 Delete a user To delete a user, click on "Delete" [2] in "users" [1]. To confirm delete, click on "Delete user including associated folders" [3] to confirm the changes
27 Other functionalities Wipe a terminal remotely Recover the previous version of a file Cloud Drive policy Event log Create alerts Deactivate alerts for an administrator Configuration templates
28 Wipe a terminal remotely The remote wipe functionality allows you to wipe the contents of the Flexible Storage mobile application on a user's terminal (Smartphone or tablet). To access it, go to the "Main" menu then "devices" [1]. Click on the terminal to be wiped then on "Remote Wipe" [2] and "save"[3]
29 Cloud Drive policy This functionality allows the administrator to define rules specifying the type of data capable of being synchronized via the Flexible Storage agent and the appliances or loaded on the Web portal or the Flexible Storage mobile application. The administrator can thus define rules based on the following criteria: file name file type file size
30 Event log This topic is used to display the logs of the last 7 days on different themes. Logs can be exported to an Excel file[3]. Each log can be filtered based on: the different topics[1]: System, Local Backup, Cloud Backup, Cloud Sync., Access, Audit and Agents. the severity level[2]: Info, Debug, Warning, Error
31 Create alerts The Flexible Storage portal administrator can create alert s from the event logs of the different users from the " alerts" topic [1] in "Logs and alerts". To create a new alert, click on "New" [2]. Define the alert settings (topic, origin type, severity, ) [3]. Name the alert then click on "finish" [4]
32 Deactivate alerts for an administrator Sending these s can be deactivated for each administrator by changing the settings in the "users" topic[1]. Select an administrator then click on "Edit" [2]. In the "Alerts" topic[3] untick the "Administrator Alerts" box [4] then confirm by clicking on "save"[5]
33 Configuration templates (1/3) The Flexible Storage administration portal allows you to centrally define the backup or synchronization policy on workstations or servers by assigning them a configuration template. It allows in particular to: Schedule backups, Define the files/folders to be backed up or excluded, Define which applications are to be backed up from among those referenced (Active Directory database, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and VM HyperV), Define the maximum throughput that will be used for the backup and synchronization service, Define the Cloud Drive synchronization, Manage the software versions of the agents installed. This template is assigned to a device. The associated template is edited via device management.
34 Configuration template (2/3) Templates are created or edited via the Settings > Configuration Templates topic [1]. Example: Creating a backup schedule template Click on "new template" [2]. Name the template [3] and select the "Backup Scheduling" tab [4]
35 Configuration template (3/3) In the "Backup Scheduling" topic, click on "Manage" [1]. Complete the fields entering the desired settings[2]: Periodically: Configure the backup so that it is carried out every xx hours Specific time: Schedule the backups for precise times and days. The Start Time, Stop Time, and On Days fields become active and must be completed. Days: Select the days on which the backup will be carried out. The default value is "Every day". Click on "Save"[3]
