3 ADMINISTRATOR GUIDE: DIGITAL ADOPTION SOLUTION This guide has been designed and developed with DAS and Fiori administrators in mind. It provides key installation and configuration details for the Digital Adoption Solution (DAS), a Fiori-based suite of user performance and collaboration tools. For an overview of DAS features see DAS Features Overview (p. 7). 3

6 S/4 HANA ON-PREMISE Fiori Launchpad Designer: Plugin Installation Instructions 1. Open your Fiori Launchpad Designer: a. The URL will usually have the following structure: o For help on Launching the Launchpad Designer, refer to SAP s documentation at: ad588e755459dc42/frameset.htm 2. Create a new target mapping: b. Find the relevant catalog that is used by your target users o For help related to the Setup of Catalogs, Groups, and Roles in the SAP Fiori Launchpad, refer to SAP s documentation at: a44176d/frameset.htm c. Open the catalog d. Click Target Mapping e. Click Create Target Mapping 6

7 3. Enter the following information in the in the new Target Mapping text fields: a. Semantic Object: Shell b. Action: plugin c. Application Type: SAPUI5 Fiori App d. Tile: Baton DAS Fiori Plugin... e. In URL, copy and paste the following: f. Replace LICENSE_KEY with the license key provided by Baton g. ID: batonplugin h. Click Save 4. Refresh the Fiori Launchpad and the Digital Adoption Solution should now be integrated into your system. a. The browser and server may keep various levels of cache, if DAS does not integrate, try the following: i. Open the DAS-enabled browser using Incognito in Chrome ii. Open DAS on another computer that has not yet seen the Fiori Launchpad. 7

8 Fiori Launchpad Designer: Landscape Configuration 1. Access the authoring menu and select Landscape and then Configuration 2. On the Landscape window, click Create 3. Enter the following information: a. Name of the system b. The domain name of the system c. The system port number d. Whether the system should be editable e. Whether the system should be protected against transports f. Whether the system should have a single sign-on feature g. A public key (PSE) to attach h. A password to protect the system 4. Save User Management 1. All users automatically have access to consume the content if they have the appropriate catalog in their role. 2. To provide access to administrative and content creation functionalities to a specific user, the user configuration steps are: a. Access the Authoring Menu and select Account and then User Management: 8

9 i. Select Add User ii. Enter User Id iii. Add Roles iv. Save Support Chat Queues 1. Access the authoring menu and select Chat and then Configuration 2. To create a new queue: a. Click on Create New Queue b. Enter the queue Id c. Enter the queue name d. Save 3. To add a new user to the queue: a. Click on Add New User b. Enter the User Id c. Enter the user name d. Save Troubleshooting and Contacting Support Baton Simulations will provide Technical Support to its customers via both telephone and electronic mail on weekdays during the hours of 9:00am through 5:00pm (Eastern Time), with the exclusion of non-business days ( Support Hours ). The Customer shall designate a maximum of three individuals as Customer Designated Support Liaison(s). The Designated Support Liaison(s) will be allowed to call the Support Center Hotline for incidents of any Severity and to notify Licensor of problems associated with the Covered Software and related documentation.
