Administrator rights required for installation. Operating systems Windows 7 Windows XP Free disk space 150 Mo Monitor resolution 1280 x EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Check you have the following equipment: edock E-LIT pistol tool E-LIT angle tool Locate the label on the left side of the edock and check that the manufacturing year is 2014 minimum. from serial number E 4 - INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE Remove the battery pack to locate the serial number on the tool footprint. Do not plug the edock to the PC before installing the software. Double-click "E-LIT CONFIG_X.X.X.X.exe". 2 - READ BEFORE STARTING The "E-LIT CONFIG" software is designed to set your systems point to point or via your Ethernet network. Check the battery pack is fully loaded. Put the tool in the "Maintenance mode". Click "OK". 3 Green Full 1 Click "Next". 2 Clac! Connect the e-dock to the PC USB port. A new serial port is created. 6 5 - SETTING THE SOFTWARE Double-click the icon on your desktop/taskbar to execute the program. Click "Undo" to cancel the last action _03_03/2016

7 5.2 - Language The language by default is "English". Select your own language. The screens are automatically updated. 6 - CREATING THE LIST OF TOOLS Click this icon to create as many tools as you want Database management Click "File/Database". Select "Open a database" to use a database which has been previously backed up. Click "Database file location" to know where the database is stored. Enter the identification of the tool. Scroll the list to select the type of tool. Enter the tool comment (up to 40 characters). The following characters are prohibited: "? < > &. For example: Modification follow-up Click "View" then "Logs" to display the events and their progression. The date of the last modification is displayed on the right side of the screen _03_03/

8 7 - PSET 8 - TOOL CONFIGURATION Speed settings Before starting the programming of the Pset, refer to the tool user manual to understand the speed settings. It is not possible to set the speed settings for ELB pistol tools Trigger Click "On" to disable the configurations using the trigger and the reverse button. For example: Battery check Buzzer Reverse mode The "Rundown speed" field is pre-filled, depending on the type of tool selected. Adjust the "Rundown speed" if needed. To set the second (final) speed, click "On". Enter the number of turns (or revolutions). Enter the final speed Rehit prevention This function is used to prevent the operator from retightening the assembly. Click "On" to active the function (0.3 seconds between two tightenings) Loosening at the end of the tightening This function is used to release the constraint between the socket and the screw. When relaxation is enabled, the tool rotates in reverse a few degrees in order to easily remove the socket. Click "On" to active the function. Enter the angle value (increment of 45 ) Buzzer Click "On" to disable the buzzer Working mode Select the working mode of the tool. Tightening + run reverse Tightening only Run reverse only Reverse mode Select the reverse mode of the tool. Reverse once Alternate Pushing the reverse button, the reverse direction is selected; the tool starts in reverse direction when the operator presses the start trigger. Once the tool has run, the tightening direction is automatically re-activated. Pushing the reverse button, the reverse direction is selected. The tool starts in reverse direction when the operator presses the start trigger. Pushing again the reverse button, the tightening direction is selected Run reverse speed Enter the speed value _03_03/2016

9 9 - TOOL INFORMATION 10 - READ/WRITE Click this icon to transfer data from the tool to the database. Click this icon to write data in the tool. Serial number Tool counter 8 characters. Refer to the label marked on the tool. Number of tightenings run by the tool. For example: The red LED of the tool is flashing quickly during a few seconds. When the transfer is over, the green light stays flashing _03_03/
