12 2.2 - Data organization Factory structure From the "Settings" menu, select "Factory structure". A factory is a group of assembly lines An assembly line is a group of working areas From the "Welcome" page, click this icon. A working area is a line segment where a specific assembly action is done. It is composed of controllers. The controllers are automatically assigned to the DefaultWorkingArea of the DefaultFactory. Click this icon to create a factory. Once done, right-click on the name to create a "Line". You need to have the access rights to enter this tab. Contact your local administrator for support. Section Plant Views Filters Description The plant is the mirror of your own factory. The goal is to customize the factory / line / working area and reorder the controllers according to your own organization. Data are collected from the controllers present in the factory. Once the job is done, you will have to select the controllers authorized to send data to the database. Refer to "Controllers management" section. The Views section is used to customize the display of data. Each user creates his own views. It is also possible to have shared views. The filters are used to sort the data. A filter can contain several search criteria. Do the same to create a "Working area". At any time, you can delete, rename the items or move them to another place. When finished, select the controllers from the Default factory and paste them in the desired working areas. It is not possible to create controllers inside the working areas. Refer to "CVI CONFIG" user manual to know how to create factories _07-06/2016

13 Controllers management Before starting, check that the controllers are actually connected to the database. Refer to chapter " Connection of controllers to the database" in this manual. From the "Settings" menu, select "Controllers management". Each controller is identified by its IP address and its name. Connected Authorized Token Open Protocol If "YES", the controller is correctly set up and the Ethernet network works properly. If "YES", the controller has been declared and it is allowed to communicate with the CVINET SERVICE application. Refer to chapter "Controllers management" in this manual. If "YES", a valid license has been granted and the controller is allowed to send its results and curves to CVINET SERVICE. The number of tokens allowed depends on the license purchased. Refer to chapter "Controllers management" in this manual. The "CVINet Open Protocol adaptor" plug-in is used to gather the tightening results using Open Protocol. This is used to gather tightening results for tightening devices from other brands than Desoutter. To add a controller, enter the controller IP address, fill in the parameters and click "Save". It is not recommended to enter the controller IP address manually. Click "Undo" to cancel the last action _07-06/
