1 Viper And Object Trader EXT Hot Keys For Activation of Object Types are Insert and Enter. Click the insert key to remove any Object Type and click again to add. Never use the Delete key or you will remove the strategy from your active chart. To Choose Object Type, left click to make sure the cursor knows you are on the chart of your choice, then click the Insert key on your keyboard to draw a gray shadow box for Region, Time Trade or Ray. Insert key will start the Object Type and clicking again will remove Object Type from your chart. Click again and it will reappear. You will want to size or move the Object Type to your choice of entry area, and click enter to activate the Object Type. Once activated, the Object Type is ready to trade. The Object Type will change from the inactive color to your active color. Anytime an Object Trade is active, it will initiate a trade if the condition is met. Be sure to deactivate when you are not wanting to trade. You cannot move a live Region or Time Region, but you can move the live Ray or Ray Channel while it is active on a chart. Hot Keys For Activation and deactivation of Trail Stops on Object Trader is Ctrl. New Features On Object Trader EXT Insert key will activate the Object Type and clicking again will remove Object Type from your chart. Click again and it will reappear. Show your account on the Object Trader panel. The setting is in the parameter box when you right click a strategy. You can save as default or save a template.

2 Change the color of your Target(s), Stop and Enter. Once you like the colors, you can right click to set default or use the template feature. Templates can now be saved for any parameter settings. Just set Object Trader parameters the way you want, then Save the template. Load the template of your choice. You can also delete templates. Enter or Scale In Or Scale Out Trades using Buy, Sell or any Object Type. You are not limited on the Scale in or Scale out quantity of contracts. If you try to Scale out more contracts than there are left, Object Trader will flatten the trade. Bar Close will now Enter, Scale in or Scale out of any number of contracts. You can even enter with a bar close, then set a Region or Ray trade to scale in or out. Ray and Ray Channel may be used to reverse a trade, or Scale in or Scale out of trades. Ray may also be used to enter trades and is used mostly like the Region. Please see chart below for Ray type trades. Ray can now be moved while it is live on your chart. You can move or angle while active on the chart. If you have the Ray set without any offset, you must make sure you are not using the inside trade for both T and B when scaling in or out. Use the T and B as you would if a Region or a Ray Channel were drawn to scale in or out. If you were scaling out of a long and the Ray was set with no offset, use the T as Short I and the B as Short O. You may use touch or close. The opposite would be true for scaling out of a short. You would use the T as Long O, and the B as Long I. R/D is the default setting. Do not change from R/D to R/E on a template or default setting or you will not be

3 able to initiate any Object Type trades. You must make sure R/D is the way the reverse button is set to enter, scale in or out of any trade. The R/E is only turned on when a trade has already been initiated and you would like to reverse if criteria is met. Choose Targets by clicking on T1, T2, T3 or T4. You can even enter one contract at first and if you decide to enter another, Object Trader will set the next available target. A third or fourth contract would set the next available target and then the next. Once you get to more than four, the targets will rotate. Examples of target use. See the video on targets on the Viper Pro and Object Trader Training page. Exit on Close Bar Reverse On Stop check to clear. Reverse at stop can be set to always reverse on stop, but the default is Reverse on Stop is checked to clear after first reversal. Bar Close Stays On until in the trade. Right click for limit and stop orders. Use this feature independent of other type trades only. You cannot use the Object Types with the manual right click stop or limit trades. You cannot scale in or out with this trade. It is not designed that way. Show or not show active account on Object Trader panel Object Type trades simplified with I and O next to trade to identify whether inside or outside Object Type. Examples in chart below. Object Trader Template- This means you can save a set of inputs to a file to pull up at any time, so if you have specific inputs and settings for a particular instrument, you can call them up by templates.

Be sure to click on a swing area, to start and stop drawing. Remember Control key is used on Object Trader for trail stops so you will need to activate Viper Lightning 3, then push Control again to make the trail stops from Object Trader disappear. 5 Object Trader EXT You can also now Scale in or out with the Buy and Sell buttons or any Object Type. To make an Outside Trade For Range or for Breakout trades. Choose Long above and short below. Use the Close, Touch and Close plus, Touch plus as you choose. See chart below. To make an Inside Trade, choose short from top and long from bottom. Use the Close, Touch and Close plus, Touch plus as you choose. See chart below. Inside Bottom, Outside Top for a long from bottom and long through top. Use the Close, Touch and Close plus, Touch plus as you choose. See Chart Below. Inside Top, Outside Bottom for a Short from Top or Short through Bottom. Use the Close, Touch and Close, Touch plus as you choose. See chart below. Use the Ray trade to take Trend-line break trades. Use the Close, Touch and Close plus, Touch plus as you choose. Active Ray can also be moved on the chart. Use the Ray Channel for Channeling trades. You can also use these with the Close, Touch and Close Plus, Touch plus features. Ray Channel can also be moved while active. Use The Bar Close feature when near identified support and resistance. Use the bar close S/E for short trade and bar close

6 L/E for a long trade. Bar Close will stay on until trade is made. You can also now scale in and out with Bar Close. Trend Line close is no longer on Object Trader. You can now use the Ray as an Enter, Scale in or out, close and reverse. Enter trade with market orders by clicking Buy or Sell buttons and Object Trader Ext will put the stops and targets as you have pre-set them. Close all trades on a chart by clicking Close. You can also now Scale in or out with the Buy and Sell buttons or any Object Type. Reverse a trade several ways. You can use the R/E for Object Types, the Stop and Reverse and the Reverse button. Remember to enter a trade with Object Type, you must have R/D. You only use R/E once a trade has triggered. Use the exit on close with caution. The stop will no longer appear at your broker and the bar will have to close above the stop line from a short trade or below the stop line for a long trade.
