3 Reset network settings procedure: 1. connect pins 1 and 2 on 'Inputs' connector 2. switch power supply on 3. red LED indicator flash three times and network settings will be reset to default: IP address: Gateway: Use DHCP: no Host name: ERV Setting network through SD card: 1. create text file 'sys.cfg' on micro SD card with settings as in this example: dhcp=1 ip= gateway= hostname=erv unit=c 2. put SD card into socket 3. switch power supply on 4. red LED indicator flash three times 5. remove SD card 6. check new settings Firmware upgrade: 1. put supplied micro SD card with firmware into socket 2. switch power supply on 3. if new firmware detected the red LED turns on and blue LED starts flashing, upgrade takes about seconds 4. after successful upgrade red LED turns off 5. remove SD card External WiFi router default settings: SSID: WiFi Security: ERV none IP address: DHCP server: User login: Password: enabled admin admin

5 The connection has preprogramed features for the following inputs: Common wire Connection for positive pressure mode. This may be a toggle switch connected. The supply airflow into the home increases by 25% from its existing setting with the exhaust airflow remaining constant. This setting continues for the entire duration the contact is switched on. When turned off, the unit will return to its previous airflow setting. Connections for CO2 sensors, air-quality sensors, humidity sensors etc. These contacts will initiate the unit s maximum CFM setting to increase air exchange. After disconnection, the unit will return to its prior airflow setting. Connections for momentary contact booster switches, which are typically located in bathrooms and kitchens. Press the booster switch for less than 3 seconds to initiate the unit s maximum CFM setting for a 20 minute duration. Press and hold the booster switch for more than 3 seconds to initiate the unit s maximum CFM setting for a 2 hour duration. After the set amount of time, the unit will return to its prior airflow setting. At anytime during a boost period, pressing the booster switch again will return the unit to its prior airflow setting.
