Roessner Hall Classroom 221 Documentation Advanced Control Features The advanced control features cover the room s lighting condition, the volume level of individual audio inputs that can be heard simultaneously, and advanced input selections. The buttons used to access these features are on the main page of the controller in the lower right corner. Lighting Control: - Pressing the Lighting Control button will bring you to the page pictured below. - From this page you can make a lighting adjustment in the room by pressing one of the buttons on the left side of the screen. The text to the right of each button gives a short explanation of how the lighting will be adjusted based on your selection. - When you have made the necessary adjustments to the lighting in the room use the Return button in the top right corner to return to the main page of the controller.

Audio Control: - Pressing the Audio Control button will bring you to the page pictured below. - The 3 audio inputs in the picture above are all able to be heard through the system at the same time, at all times. - The Mic/Mixer Feed In input is not in use at all times by default and requires a separate microphone or device to be connected to the port on the podium. It is an available connection that has a constant feed to the audio system. Most classes/faculty members will not need to utilize this feature. - The Lectern Mic volume level will adjust the volume level from the microphone on top of the podium. The microphone can also be muted from this page if needed. - The Main Output volume level will adjust the overall volume for the entire AV system including program audio from input devices such as a laptop or the built-in PC. This is basically the same volume controls as on the main page of the controller. The main output audio can also be muted from this page. - When you are finished adjusting the volume levels use the Return button in the top right corner to return to the controller s main page.

Advanced Selection: - Pressing the Advanced Selection button will bring you to the page pictured below. - From this screen you can control the content being shown on the projection screen and at each table s display. You can also raise the projection screen up and down and power on and off the projector and all displays. The buttons on the screen are labeled clearly as to what they will do when pressed. - When you are finished making your selections press the Return button in the top right corner to return to the controller s main page. Flex Room Features: - Room 221 has the capability to allow students to connect their personal laptops to the rooms AV system. From the podium you are able to select one (1) of the student connections and send that video to all displays in the room for the entire class to view. To do so you will use the 2 buttons highlighted in the photo below.

- Pressing the Room Layout button will open the page pictured below. - The photo clearly shows the layout of the room along with the number each table has been assigned in the system. There are no buttons on this page. The page is here for you to orient yourself in the room and allow you to make the correct selection in the next step of the process. - Once you have an understanding of the table numbers you can press the return button to go back to the main page of the controller. - Next press the Table Selection button. This button will open the page pictured below. - This page will allow you to select one (1) of the student laptop connections to send to all displays in the room. Each student laptop connection is labeled with a number 1-5 at each table. If you wanted to show a student s laptop that was at table 1 on connection 2 you would select Laptop 2 under Table 1. Within a few seconds after making your selection you will see the students laptop mirrored to all displays.

Crestron Air Media: The Crestron Air Media device can be used to wirelessly display Windows and Mac laptops, IOS mobile devices, and Android mobile devices. - To begin using the Air Media device press the Air Media button located on the main page of the controller. - The Air Media screen will be seen on all displays in the classroom. - Along the top of the screen you will see a host name followed by an IP address.
